Frum fakery

From the brainiac named David Frum who gave us the “axis of evil” slogan.

Last week, David Frum, a senior editor at the Atlantic, tweeted a series of claims questioning whether photos of wounded Palestinians in Gaza — including the one at the top of this post — had been doctored. In some of these tweets, he linked to blog posts by others claiming fakery. In others, he was more direct:

I know something is happening in Gaza, but sadly, we can never know what.

Real puppet discusses mythical puppet

Every single day we have to hear about 9/11. There’s always some fresh news (or freshly created).

Former President Bill Clinton said he “could have killed” Osama bin Laden in remarks to an audience in Australia the day before al Qaeda’s 2001 attacks on the United States, according to an audio tape that emerged this week.

“I nearly got him,” Clinton continues. “And I could have killed him but I would have had to destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and killed 300 innocent women and children and then I would have been no better than him. And so I didn’t do it.”

What a humanitarian. How did he know they were all woman? How did he get such a round number? The story is so silly it belongs in a book of fairy tales — the 9/11 fairy tales.

On a side note, Bill is aging rapidly. What will his future role be I wonder?
