Are we sure it was 220 feet?

I have no idea who this guy (sim?) is, but a quick investigation leads one to question the veracity of this fishy story. His parents are (wealthy) owners of a media company in Toronto (I don’t go to movies in theaters, so I’m not sure if the magazine is still in business [the rate card is from 2009]).

My guess is the sequel (underfunded?) movie he is working on will come out thanks to the generous support the obligatory Gofundme campaign will raise in honor of his legacy of saving sharks.

Volunteer divers with a Florida fire department found the body of missing Toronto filmmaker Rob Stewart, the U.S. Coast Guard tweeted shortly before 6 p.m. on Friday. A spokesperson for the family confirmed that Stewart’s body was found. The original tweet was deleted roughly 30 minutes later, but the Coast Guard account posted an update just past 7 p.m. confirming the discovery. The tweet stated that the volunteers found Stewart’s body at a depth of 220 feet.
