According to author Peter Vronsky whose new book, Son of Cain: A History of Serial Killers from the Stone Age to the Present (Penguin Random House), the former mall Santa falls into the category of Ted Bundy, the Son of Sam and other infamous monsters. “There is no rule of thumb on serial killers,” Vronsky told The Toronto Sun. “It’s usually a combination of things, each guy is a cocktail of different things [that drives them to kill].”
