Fakery is compelling

Fake video dramatically alters eyewitness accounts

Dr Wade said: “Over the previous decade we have seen rapid advances in digital-manipulation technology. As a result, almost anyone can create convincing, yet fake, images or video footage. Our research shows that if fake footage is extremely compelling, it can induce people to testify about something they never witnessed.”

The role of psychologists in creating the false reality presented in the MSM is a given, although not easy to prove. When witnesses or victims are paraded in front of the cameras or microphones one may safely assume that “specially trained officers” have rehearsed them, no doubt psychologists working for the intelligence services.
    This interesting character
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%ADs…
popped up in the list of expert witnesses at the juicy [for lawyers] inquiry into the fake suicide of former weapons inspector and intel asset Dr David Kelly CMG back in 2003.
He is an internationally renowned authority on suggestibility and false confessions whose expert testimony was the basis for the convictions of the Birmingham Six and Guildford Four being overturned. He created the Gudjonsson suggestibility scale to measure how susceptible someone is to coercion during an interrogation.

I feel sure that the psychologists can produce victims and witnesses to order – false memories can be a two way street, one can either detect them or implant them.

In 1993 the British Psychological Society convened a working party in response to the concern that some psychologists might be inadvertently implanting false memories of child sexual abuse in their clients.

    oh!! source
If the perps can bring funeral directors, doctors, firefighters, police, politicians, paramedics coroners, insurers, accident investigators, journalists and photographers onside, why not add hypnotherapists and psychologists to the recreuiting process to create news/fear?

      PS
The follow up comment by Bongostaple is very interesting.
Not only are these manipulated [in so far as they don’t show what they purport to show, only suggestions] videos used in news reports of fake events, but from my own experience, they are also produced for the closed courtroom for the purposes of creating a fake trial which may not even make the local or national news, but serve to keep the supply of graduating lawyers in work. I came to accept that these state funded trials were nothing more than a drill with crisis actors, translators, barristers and judges. How much crime is real, how much is fake? We’ll never know.

A few weeks ago I had to go to downtown Toronto.
After I finished what I had to do I decided to go watch a court trial.
The court trial was at 361 University Avenue. This is a large courthouse in Toronto that handles murder trials.

Here is what the trial is about.
        globalnews.ca/news/3263285/all…

I studied the news story about the murder when I got home and I thought this is fake news. But how can it be fake news when there is a trial. I then asked myself the question? could the judge be fake, could the accused be fake, could the lawyers be practicing for a real trial? this could be part of their training??

        then you write:

but from my own experience, they are also produced for the closed courtroom for the purposes of creating a fake trial which may not even make the local or national news, but serve to keep the supply of graduating lawyers in work. wow!!
I will add that 361 University is a huge courthouse and there were only two trials for the whole courthouse. also, the two accused did not look particularily nervous sitting in the courthouse., and one of the accused in the courtroom did not look like the picture himself as the accused in the newspapers.
also, the accused was extremely handsome, one could say model looking or actor looking

This is really interesting. Can we discuss this on an audiochat? I wonder which, if any, high profile court trials going on in Toronto are real or actors? Our big murder ones are delayed until 2020, which is ludicrous when one considers accused right to a speedy trial.

Completely agree how the entire official apparatus (funeral directors, doctors, firefighters, police, politicians, paramedics coroners, insurers, accident investigators, journalists, photographers and more..) is controlled and heavily used to indoctrinate the public.

The main purpose of a PsyOp is to manipulate the public perception of events and make a planned script and acted action appear real. The fact the public will observe very little of any staged PsyOp as this will be a staged narrative, it is very important that the public doubt their own impressions and rather conform what they observe with the information they acquire through the media as the public tries to understand extra-ordinary scenarios they never will experience in “normal” circumstances.

By repetition of extraordinary events in the Mainstream Media, the public will slowly become persuaded by the repetition of PsyOps and hoaxes that such events are counter-intuitively somewhat “natural” as well – despite they never happen in their own normal lives.

The proposition behind PsyOps and Hoaxes is irrational as it proposes artificial scenarios as factual, and it is this very fact that makes it important that the perpetrators are eager to conquer the interpretation of the fake evidence they fabricate and provide the public as they sell their PsyOps and Hoaxes. So to have the public rely on experts rather than their own observations serves deception well.

Just as the placebo effect is proven to be effective, so will the 2010 Dr Wade study “Can Fabricated Evidence Induce False Eyewitness Testimony” have similar impact as they with just 60 students can guide the experiment and decorate the results pretty much as it suits them. Such studies thereby lend legitimacy to these “experts” who profit from the placebo effect of conjuring up a perfect scenario (here the Wade experiment) for the public to once more doubt what they observe and that only experts can understand… With scientific “proof” such as a biased survey/experiment.

My point is that merely presenting such “evidence” as the questionable Dr Wade study is problematic if taken as “fact” and not critically analyzed as it comes from the same structure used to provide “evidence” in the case of PsyOps, and the “findings” seems rather toxic for the public as we are encouraged to doubt our own observations, and also consider testimony from these unscrupulous as “better” than our own. I’m not buying*.

Lucky we have experts such as Dr Kimberly Wade to help us observe ‘reality’, and that Clues Forum helps propagate such ‘information’…

*after choosing to NOT investigate K Hammad and her false media hoax Muckleshoot Casino 2011 testimony, i do not buy anything coming from Clues Forum as they very clearly do nothing to uncover fakery and prove themselves unworthy of respect as researchers and unworthy of being considered a reliable source.

Taking science as fact is always troublesome, and easy to accept when the results fit our worldview or current preoccupations – here the real/false debate.

This “fake video” experiment was conducted on just 60 subjects and published in “Applied Cognitive Psychology” in 2010 which is the official journal (here) of the Society for Applied Research in Memory and Cognition (SARMAC) of which Dr Wade is the executive director under President Deryn Strange (John Jay College of Criminal Justice NY).

What is intriguing about Dr Wade is how she ties directly into Goldsmiths Anomalistic Psychology Research Unit where as an active presenter and panelist, and Goldsmith’s APR unit seems to have built the platform for recent Academic efforts* to vilify Conspiracy Theory “believers” such as COMPACT, CRASSH, CREST, etc.

To summarize the efforts of Goldsmiths Anomalistic Psychology Research Unit would be fairly simple : they want to classify belief in conspiracy as a psychological condition and work to protect the suspect organizations and/or individuals AGAINST conspiracy theory research and attention.

I’m not quite sure how well false memories will be an argument against tinfoil hat conspiracy theory speculation, but as it is our “friends” over at Clues Forum who bring this type of older research into light, it would be misleading on their behalf to not to present such studies within its actual context.

These academics are demonstrably working hard to educate the experts and doctors who legitimize a large amount of forensic science and academic reports used in Psychological Operations and that at least in part must be considered to be very useful science propaganda, not fact.

I’m not really sure where Dr Wade’s studies fit to help us understand media fakery, but i’m not convinced her efforts is merely to inform the public as she works closely within organizations that have proven to be both deceptive and organized against conspiracy theory as valid research. Dr Wade is equally Deputy Director of Operational Police Research in Warwick (COPR).
