Hello forum, I am a flat earther hoping to try and encourage a logical approach to toppling the myths and/or establishing the facts in this growing debate on a flat earth. To that end, and very high on the list at the moment, somebody from the FE community needs to debunk the San Domingo to Sydney direct non-stop flight theory – the theory that a non-stop flight is impossible between these two airports because of the flat earth map distance between the two countries. Somebody need to try and actually catch that flight. And if they do catch it, they then need to make unmistakeable video, mobile phone and Googlemaps recordings if the plane stops anywhere along the route. Why it stopped and where etc etc.. If it doesn’t stop and the plane actually arrives in Chile or Sydney (whichever the start journey), and it arrives within the direct, non-stop flight time allotted to it – approx 14 hours, then AT THE VERY LEAST the flat earth map needs to be redrawn. And we FErs can then get our heads together to decide the next step. It’s no good, as Mark Sargent says, that the flight can’t be booked, because IT CAN! See link Or look at attached image booking.lan.com… Flight LA 807, flight time 14 hrs 15 mins. Now, whether it actually leaves or changes plans at the last minute and passengers are rerouted is another matter. But at this moment in time, you can call these flight brokers, get out your credit card and actually make a booking from Santiago to Sydney direct and non stop. For suggesting and requesting on the IFERS site a few weeks ago that this simple but admittedly expensive experiment be carried out as soon as possible, I was banned from Eric Dubay’s site as a shill. In my mind, this shows a level of immaturity this topic certainly does not deserve right now.

I would be willing to donate 100usd to some account to get this ball rolling. Is Jon Le Bon up for catching the flight being as he’s living out there. I’d try to do this flight myself, seriously guys I would, if I didn’t happen to live in England. Are you up for it Jon? How do we best proceed? One thing is certain though, this trip, whoever takes it, will have to be a precisely video-documented journey at all the key points, videoing dates, places and times along the way, a watertight video diary from Chile to Sydney and/or vice-versa. Hope this sparks some interest and uptake.
