I don’t know.
It is summer, the name (Juliana), the place (Alphen), the timing (coinciding with the Bin Laden stepmother crash), the music, the obligatory birds.
I should be heading out, doing a boots on the ground investigation. But it is summer.
August 4, 2015 at 5:07 am #353936rgosParticipantThe camera position…

The person previously reported as wounded was already in a wheelchair.
0 dead, 0 wounded. It is a miracle!

100% staged. – the damage will be within the budget for the disaster drill, kindly subscribed to by all Dutch taxpayers. The emergency services will have been wonderful. Thanks to the crane crews also.
The world is quite a safe place – let’s make it more dangerous.
August 4, 2015 at 10:48 am #354199xileffilexParticipantAnother drill pointer – the Guardian airs the story.
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/aug/03/netherlands-cranes-collapse-alphen-aan-den-rijn
Heavy machinery was moved to the scene in case people were trapped under rubble and needed to be rescued. No chance. But the drill looks good.
sending a cloud of dust into the air… The local municipality urged people to stay away from the scene to allow rescuers to carry out their work. Rescuers with sniffer dogs were on their way to the scene to check for survivors. Not much dust.
August 4, 2015 at 10:52 am #354200xileffilexParticipantAnother viewpoint, rgos?
Seems like we Fakeologists were the only people who didn’t know it was going to happen!
August 4, 2015 at 11:26 am #354204rgosParticipantCamera positions, rgos…
That’s the mirror image of the one above, curiously.
Nevertheless, it screams drill.
Officials on TV seem the be reading from a script. Everything and everyone prepared.
August 4, 2015 at 11:46 am #354238rgosParticipantThe world is quite a safe place – let’s make it more dangerous.
The witness at 3.13 (one of the house owners) sounds totally scripted. No emotion, totally matter-of-fact, as if she has memorized the story the week before.
I’m betting the farm she’s and official spokesperson playing the role of house owner/witness.She also thinks she’s doing a good job.
August 4, 2015 at 12:03 pm #354239rgosParticipantOur hero Joey, from Used Products, a pawn shop. He rented the place from the fake witness/house owner above.
The entire day he had a foreboding the crane was going to collapse.
August 4, 2015 at 12:29 pm #354252rgosParticipantLooks like the drill was: Let’s see what happens when we use cranes on a pontoon to lift a bridge.
Cf. Let’s see what happens with a ski-lift when we speed up the motor.
August 4, 2015 at 12:48 pm #354297rgosParticipantNuActueel. Almost empty YouTube channel. Especially created for this event:

Fake. Next.
August 4, 2015 at 1:40 pm #354347rgosParticipantHints of the Enschede disaster. They always seem to pick perfect weather for these events.
Warrants its own thread: Enschede 13th of May 2000. Fireworks disaster.
My contention is that the Dutch opened the 9/11 hoax years. The premiere was in Enschede on a sunny day in May of 2000.
After all these years I think the Dutch are quite expert at these hoaxes. A bit nochalant in cordoning the place off, though.
Ooh, look at them twin towers.August 4, 2015 at 6:13 pm #354563xileffilexParticipantYou’ve got to admit it, rgos, it was a good hoax, quite risky and well planned. A little like the tower crane helicopter “disaster” in London a couple of year ago. Daring in fact, but full of all their tell-tale signs.
Notice how the bridge didn’t give the cranes any trouble 4 years ago…
Do we know the exact time it occurred? This is the earliest tweet I can find [a standard way of getting the message across from fake witnesses]

Oooh yes. Red and orange. Very nice.
Huge crane falls over.
No one killed but it was a huge crane.
We all saw it. Pictures shown all over the world.Thank you rgos, and Holland, for your continued contribution to World Health and Safety.
