As I noted at my last First Aid training, the now accepted method of ‘First Aid’ has removed the mouth-to-mouth part entirely.
The official technique is now to go straight from establishing loss of breathing, to the heart massage. ie place both hands flat on the chest and pump -hard -”to the rhythm of Staying Alive”.All that mouth-to-mouth stuff is said to be worthless…
A quirky point I thought, but it was still used in 2009.
The Red Cross medic appears to be pinching the guy’s nose.
This you would expect to see during the old mouth-to-mouth.Having established a heart beat, one would then be told to put the patient into the recovery position and talk to them.
If she is indeed being shown giving the ‘kiss-of-life’ rather than just ‘establishing a pulse’, if she is seen to be giving mouth-to-mouth here, she must have established a loss of heartbeat. A very serious situation. The two ‘wise’ guys (the Doctors) look to be sitting back for the photographs when they should be steaming-in. You’d notice that it was fake, if this was the claim at this point, I think.

For now, this person is definitely trying to give heart massage but they look like they’re doing it incorrectly.
Is he doing the decent thing and not touching the stunt-girls breasts? Or is she choking on a sandwich or something and they’re doing a sort-of lying-down Heinrich Manoeuvre? The hands are too low.
This is supposedly a crucial, situation.

I think this Dutch escapade could almost now be uprated to “other psy-ops”. Note at 1.10 here two of the people in on it, in orange and white skirt/trousers, run across the street towards the action. He’s in the thick of the “first aid”, she’s in the background of one of the photos.

loose-uniform-thing going on with the guys in pastels and stripes? It rather reminds me of the grey jumpers of Bradford, xilef. Some sort of coding is de rigeur, is it not?Helps players know who the wiseguys are, maybe.

The guy pumping the chest looks completely like he’s just going through the motions.Remember, if you’re really saving someone’s life you have to pump very hard.
This is no time for going through the motions at all. Again it looks like a training exercise.Also here the camera here doesn’t show the wounded person. Just the guy ‘pumping lethargically’ -tasteful on-the-go-editing one wouldn’t expect, surely?
