I think superstorm Sandy never existed other than as images in media. People who were in the area during the supposed storm said that the weather was calm, yet according to the news on television superstorm Sandy should be sweeping through the area. They were told they were in the eye of the storm.
The blackouts and the broken crane etc were of course real, but staged as a part of the media hoax.
