ParticipantExactly. No one. And that is made clear in programmes like Question Time where everyone plays the same tune; right, left, young, old, white and black. Clear consensus. Wanna disagree? On QT they were taking no chances and no one was given any opportunity to disagree.
This is how we all see it: And that’s a fact.

ParticipantThe tag ‘Russian Cheese’ is perfect. It is sooo cheesy.
I checked out the BBC flag ship propaganda shows Any Questions / Any Answers (Radio 4) and Question Time (QT – BBC 1) to see how much they are pushing this meme. Strangely it was the first topic of QT 13.09.18, referred heavily to the RT show-piece interview with the accused.(RT playing along nicely…)
All the panelists condemned it and reiterated that ‘we’ should ‘stand up’ to the evil Puten, etc. Each panelist said basically the same thing, serving up the familiar plate of cheese, and then they moved on quickly. It was not opened up to the floor, no questions or discussion was allowed and since then the subject has been dropped.
It was similar with the programme ‘Any Answers’, although the topic was announced as a talking point, no one ‘called in’ to talk about it. So the sabre rattling is not being pushed at the moment; even though we know it can be saved it for later…
I sometimes wonder if this and Brexit are all part of the deimperialization of British thinking – the slow reprogramming from imperial to federal – the UK is not a world power any more – they will have to get with the programme or go under for a while – and serve as an example to the others.
Of course the interesting side effect is that the more racist, closed and belligerent a country appears (remember the ‘hostile environment’) the less people want to migrate there.

One sign of which is talking about yourself in the third person. Or maybe that’s an habitual remnant from running aliases… 😎
This is why Ab says he doesn’t go with pay walls and paying subscribers, because then he would feel beholden to produce enough content every month, which leads to such strategies as hamster-wheeling. Then you are in the media game. You need content that brings in the subscribers and keeps them. Criticism can, from some quarters, cause genuine existential angst – as we can see.
Unreal wrote: “It is symptomatic nevertheless to see you show up in this discussion on the Conspiracy Conspiracy and not contribute the slightest on the topic discussed – fake truthers – and in stead just preach your own cause & defending your “credibility”.
Well, your self-centered interest and general (voluntary) ignorance of the intelligence origin of conspiracy theorists show us why you’re on this scene and self-servingly intend to earn a following, defending your image as best you can all while reminding us how much a part of the TCC you really are.”
Tja, kind of nails it…
And if it’s not true – better change something quickly because that’s how it looks.
In the 60s and 70s music scene it was called ‘selling out’. The parallels to the music scene are numerous. One only needs a few TFFs, the rest literally ‘fake it ’til they make it’. Imitating those they want to be.
You can do this too, says the system, just look at any of our living examples; take Jay Dyer. His best buddies at Hoax Busters didn’t have a problem with his endorsement of Trump or his continued appearances on ‘White Ice Radio’, (a joke I have from John Adams that was the only comment about Redice.) Now he is a professional author/podcaster/ talking head, copy him and get in the queue.
If your theme is ‘in’ you will be invited onto the various platforms just like musicians with the songs they offer up. The History Hoax is the song that JlB sold on THC, which for most ordinary people is just as dismissably absurd as flat earth, ergo: not very threatening. I didn’t hear anything about NGH/ND in the first half, and if one is really into spreading the message, that’s where it should be.
Disingenuous – that’s the word.
I tend to give JLB the benefit of the doubt and youth but the comments above are so desperately disingenuous it is slightly embarrassing.
As I said I wish any one who has decided to make ‘truther platforming’ their chosen career the very best of luck. They are going to need it because, just like the music scene, if you are in the scene but not in the loop you are probably being used… or being useful… and if you want to stay you will find yourself self censoring and taking on the themes that sell. But, eh, once on the circuit you’ll be a truther pop star.

Participant“Here’s Greg himself having a “smoke”…”
He’s not smoking that thing! He’s doing a Bill Clinton. He’s not inhaling.
He blows it straight back out or sucks in air. He specifically covers himself by declaring he did not bring ‘any in’. He does not give that Irish spliff the respect that any grass smoker I know would and then… he throws it away before it’s finished. Lol. The stoner can’t smoke.

David Icke is beginning to look like a reptile himself.I dropped in and out of TCG 9/11 episode – only heard the usual troupes…

ParticipantJames was invited to Groningen University where he was given
cult academic status – this was back in his ‘Gladio’ phase when all was
once well with siren Sybil of his ‘same old recycled cast’ past –
before the dramatic split and aftermath: “Hamsterwheeling”.http://sggroningen.nl/nl/evenement/secret-war-gladio-and-battle-eurasia
Very enjoyable, informative and laugh-out-loud funny posts: UNreal & xileffelix.
Always remember: on this Grand Chessboard…
Why is that so funny…

ParticipantThis thing of reviewing films is something they all do. It brings you back to main stream programming because if you want to stay in the loop you have to watch the film.

ParticipantGordon White from Rune Soup. A practitioner in the Magical arts and Greg’s Guru – on stage at least. Gordon sounds good in interviews, very slick and all-knowing. He gives courses in magick, which is a great way to become a guru. He does solo shows that push the fear button suddenly after mainly spreading magical immortality as an interviewee. I always think of him as ‘Empire’ – british. Chris Knowles (Secret Sun) and Alex Tsakiris from Skeptico, they all big each other up and interview each other regularly on each other’s shows.
From Gorden White’s book ‘Starships’ A prehistory of spirits:

ParticipantGreg says he is balding, too. That’s why you will never see him without his cap.
THC is also Gordon White heavy. GW has made the most appearances…

ParticipantRe: COST
We’re not wrong, therefore you must be mad. Let us study this madness.
I can see the Film: Good looking COST academic is drawn into conspiracy theories while researching, loses his objectivity, takes mushrooms, goes native, it looks like all these conspiracy theories are correct after all – especially the most far fetched! But no. We’re in Brazil (The film) And we are just watching an entertaining fall into psychosis. Conspiracy Theories and believing in them are the first sign of psychosis.
I would say that the cognitive dissonance required to maintain such a position will, in itself, lead down the psychosis road for some of the academics involved.
Collateral damage that can also be implemented. In fact, what a great training ground for future TFFs.Such talking shops are also, as you say UNreal, a form of black box (great coinage), and what comes out, apart from some nuances, has already been decided, as their mission statement states, regardless of any findings that may contradict their thesis… and who would do that anyway? That would be ‘crazy’.
Nothing new – but more organisation…

ParticipantThe European Cooperation in Science & Technology (COST). Shouldn’t that be CIST? Large outfit, very busy and part of the ‘ERA’.
From their website: COST is thus a building block of the European Research Area: http://ec.europa.eu/research/era/index_en.htm
Which is run by Stakeholders:http://ec.europa.eu/research/era/index_en.htm
Which in turn are research acronyms at the european level. Yes… let’s see.
I am a very comfortable CCF. I still like the word ‘listener’.

ParticipantThe natural scaling, CAP to TFF, that you (UNreal) outline, directly reminded me of the music business but then I realised of course, this could apply to almost everything. An underlying schematic for the book world, academia, movie making, pretty much anything we call culture; this is the way it grows. Mostly top down, sometimes bottom up, eventually they all take on this financial hierarchy because looked at financially, that’s what it is, a hierarchy.
This is the ladder JLB is currently climbing, going from a CAP to CCF to TLR to TCC and now, after his HSC appearance he is well on his way to TFF, So quid pro quo. He runs a teaser video asking fakeologists to sign up to the HSC.
Will he big up fakeologist as he begins to hit the circuit? (No mention on the HSC public podcast.) Will this mean more interest and donations for this site and it’s contributors? Will he bring HSC people to Ab? At the moment it seems to be more the other way around.
Content providers have a choice. Would you like enough donors to be able to do this full time? Isn’t that the temptation that becomes a reason in itself. That’s how the HSC guy describes himself. He’s just glad he got out of a dead end job.
Ab says that he (Ab) is not like this. He doesn’t want to be in a position where he has to make compromises. I think that is one of the reasons Fakeologist is still not boring, unlike the others, and you and Xileffelix play a large part in that being so.
You have also taken a stance which precludes you, on the face of it, at least for a while, from climbing this particular greasy pole by outing (I think we might as well say ‘all’) yes, more or less all the TCC members of the scene apart from Ab.
I must admit that, as a listener, I have come to similar conclusions.
Anyway, JLBs teaser did not work, as much as I wish him luck in his chosen career, I would rather, and have, given a couple of months HSC subscription money to you.
Xileffelix too – has he got a donate button somewhere?

ParticipantThat’s a relief. Thanks. Very glad you liked it. I’m working on a CD of such songs: Fake Blues 😉
