In Honduras, it was called “the Beast”, the name of the freight train on which migrants cling to cross Mexico. But this pitbull, which travels in the caravan of thousands of Hondurans towards the United States, was renamed these days “Bolillo”, named after a typical Mexican bread.

Do you get the feeling, rgos, that there are people on a waiting list to “die” as soon as there is some extreme weather event to make it more newsworthy?
Probably. In any case, these personal stories are unbelievable and sound corny.
Judging these types of events is much harder, though. This one is right up there with the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, Fukushima and the Armatrice earthquake. Things are really happening, as far as we can see, but everytime there is that obligatory admixture of fakery going on. It is as if they’ve got their fake victims and faux stories line-up and at the ready, yes. There’s always a dog and pony show.
