English Peasant Revolt (1381)

Not a hoax. But certainly redolent with psyop warfare.

A reasonably plausible description of England’s bloody “Peasant Revolt of 1381”.
Based entirely on available primary source documents.

The revolt erupted largely as a consequence of labor shortages, anti-labor legal measures, abuses and political corruption over the 35 years following the “Black Death”; which ravaged England and killed off thousands back in 1348-1349.

This coincided with the "100 Years War" then still raging in France.
Indeed it was triggered by a massive tax ripoff, intended to subsidize the Duke of Lancaster's foreign wars.

If you find this topic interesting (“vertical warfare”), you may appreciate Thomas Costain’s narrative account (“The Last Plantagenets”) or Barbara Tuchman’s chapter on the revolt in “A Distant Mirror”.

there are primary source documents...and there again there are very modern primary source documents which inform me about the moon landing, JFK's ass-ass ination, 9/11, just to pick a few hot numbers out of the hat.

However, I was already getting stuck into some academic research into the food riots in Eastern England in the early 1800s, possibly due to a period of poor harvests, shortages, inflation....

Poor harvests will be back soon, deliberately engineered. Tuck into the above.
