Genesis’ Keep It Dark

Music can be a tonic. I like songs where I can hear the words and have them make sense to me. This song helps me sort out of the real world from the fake one, and speaks of hope to me.

Found that man reported missing,
He wandered in his home.
It don’t seem too bad if you consider
Just what he’s been through.

Seems he met up with a gang of thieves,
Who mistook him for a man of means,
They locked him up then found he had no money,
So they let him go again.
Now he’s back at home and happy
Just to see the kids.

I wish that I could really tell you
All the things that happened to me
And all that I have seen.
A world full of people their hearts full of joy,
Cities of light with no fear of war,
And thousands of creatures with happier lives,
And dreams of a future with meaning and no need to hide.

Oh, keep it dark.

It seems strange to have to lie,
About a world so bright.
And tell instead a made-up story,
From the world of night.

I wish, that I could really tell you,
All the things that happened to me
And all that I have seen,
A world full of people their hearts full of joy,
Cities of light with no fear of war,
And thousands of creatures with happier lives,
And dreams of a future with meaning and no need to lie,
No need to hate,
No need to hide.

Oh, keep it dark.

Love Genesis. Real truther music. They actually could play their instruments! One of my favourite bands along with The Beatles and Beach Boys. Lamb Lies Down on Broadway speaks of dust in the streets of Manhattan (like 911). BTW I personally talked to a witness, there was dust in the air, not just video fakery dust.

    “Fly on a Windshield” (excerpt)

There’s something solid forming in the air,
And the wall of death is lowered in Times Square.
    No-one seems to care,
They carry on as if nothing was there.

The wind is blowing harder now,
    Blowing dust into my eyes.
The dust settles on my skin,
Making a crust I cannot move in
And I’m hovering like a fly, waiting for the windshield on the freeway.
