45 Terabytes of Child Pron?

Lots of occultist numbers in this latest “big” bust of child porn distributors. I’m not convinced any of this happened as we are told, and am not too convinced of anything the Toronto Police Service has to say.

“Leading search engine companies Google and Microsoft have agreed measures to make it harder to find child abuse images online.

As many as 100,000 search terms will now return no results that find illegal material, and will trigger warnings that child abuse imagery is illegal.”

It’s obviously hard to find fault with stopping searches for child abuse. But this implies a filtering system. It implies that there are human hands in the results that search engines return.

Kinda off-subject but has anybody else noticed the decline in usefulness of Google when doing research on nearly anything? The recent “hummingbird” algorithm update seems to be when it went to shit but Google has been gimping various aspects of their service for awhile.
