I don’t know, I wasn’t there. What do you think? They’re telling us they’re unbelievable, so should I believe them anyway?

Funny you mention this. When the the tv showed the twin towers falling, I thought it looked a lot like Mount St. Helens erupting. which I witnessed. I found it odd that the twin towers falling looked more like Mount St. Helens, than like the King Dome being demolished. I am from Washington State and these things were a big deal, AND we had plenty of time to get our cameras ready.

I had the very same impression. That morning before work I had the tv on with the sound down low and with no explanation (and on nearly every channel) I too assumed it was Mount St. Helens spewing up smoke. It must have been a replay or just the aftermath by then as Im on the west coast near Vancouver. It wasn’t until I got in my car did I hear the news on the radio as we were meant to understand it all. I guess I can say I wasn’t traumatized by the images, but got a lesser shock from the radio.
