Sad coincidence

I never heard of Hargis before my latest interview with Simon.

One of the closest eye-witnesses to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy has died.

Dallas police officer Bobby Hargis was one of the motorcycle riders escorting the Kennedy limousine at the fatal moment.

Photographs show Hargis riding just off the rear left fender, closest to where the First Lady was riding.

Hargis said he was so close to the limo that he was splattered with blood from the President’s fatal wound.

Hargis died Friday at the age of 81.

I’m feeling very jaded after accepting the fact that there was no murder. At this point there is no way to know if Hargis really existed or if that was his “actor” name during the film that became a several day mini-series created to totally mind-F*** the American public.

Since I’m commenting, I also want to say that I cried when Walter Cronkite died just before the 40th anniversary of the moon walk. I totally admired that man. I was 8 months pregnant with my 1st child that day in July of 1969. We all sat in my parents den watching as history was made. My son took his life at the age of 36 and would have turned 40 in 2009. When Cronkite died I felt like I lost a family member.

I really could use some technical help so I can join a discussion next week. I’m having trouble processing and really need to talk this through. I just learned too much last week.

    Thanks guys,
