It’s my privilege

Musicians are often the clearest thinkers and communicators of our time. I’m not talking about the manufactured stars. There are a few real ones in the bunch (they don’t get pulled to the top), and I think fellow Canadian Alanis is one of them.

As I offer my podcasts and insights for free (and always will) , I pondered the concept that free has no value.

Alanis’ reminded me that when offered with love, anything has value if it is received in kind.

It’s also probably why I like Simon and his work so much. He offers it from a real genuine place. Even casual observers can sense that.

That’s worth more than anything you can pay for.
