Back in the day, Family Ties was one of my favorite shows. It’s really sad that a fellow Canadian has joined people like to 0;promote” a disease/condition.

This looks blatant to me. I have known people with Parkinson’s (not may and I’m no expert at all, not even slightly) but it still doesn’t pass the smell test. And the motivation appears simple to me – the disease/syndrome is real. I’ll bet you plenty of people have requested access to the same drugs that have kept MJ 666 as highly functional for this long, so they too can enjoy the benefits he is obviously getting

I have a feeling that selling pharmaceutical drugs is closer to the truth, than this just being a noble lie. What Fox is doing is downright psychopathic. Normal people would not agree to be a part of something like this, and if I had a talk show, I would not allow someone like this on my show. These are very strange people.

It’s not just Fox either, Christopher Reeve probably faked his paralysis. I watch this video of him giving a speech at the Oscars and wonder how many in that crowd giving a standing ovation knew that this was fake? I’m guessing a majority since they are all involved in their own little fake events, marriages, kids, scandals, etc.

We’re talking MASSIVE deception and fucked-up-edness here. Same with Tracy Morgan’s fake injury speech from last year. You may point to the Milgram or Stanford Prison Experiment as to how this is done, but I’m of the belief those experiments were faked and are not replicable. Normal people just don’t agree to this.

Again, I believe this is all a charade, I’m just having difficulty understanding how a non-psychopathic person could agree to do something like this.

$$$ goes a long long way to convince people, especially those that have lots and don’t want to lose it and the lifestyle it affords.

Parkinsons research needs money. It’s a poor cousin to its Cancer counterpart. Sadly, it’s probably caused by some everyday chemical exposure that some, combined with poor nutrition, succumb to.
Celebutards are recruited as the ultimate PR spokesmen. I am sure he’s raised more money and awareness than all the time before him. A true propaganda bonanza. A noble lie.

I’m very open to this being fake. Can anybody here chime in with what you think the purpose of faking Parkinson’s is? It’s pretty obvious why Magic did it, since there might not be such a thing as AIDS, but from what I understand Parkinson’s is a real disease.
