One email and we have a show!
Brien and I want to continue on subject. Our perspective has a PNW take.
Brien and I (Jenna ) are caretakers on an 8 acre estate outside Olympia, Wa.
We have time to talk.Did you ever read Sometimes a Great Notion by Ken Kesey?
The story dates a progression of communitarianism. The practical understanding can be fleshed out. The PNW land use and management in relation to the carbon footprint bare a communitarian fruit. Waiting for big brother to maintain the forest or reduce wildfire load on the king’s land is a direct result… 60 years later.Brien’s childhood neighbor is the main character in the book . Kesey must of heard about the legacy of Albert Firshau in a Coos Bay bar in Oregon. This story supplied the individual vs. community thrust into the book. This Seattle PI article , at the bottom of the page refers to Albert as Sometimes a great Notion character. No coincidence.
spl.libanswers.com/loaderTicke…Brien asked me to bait you into a phone call with a hope for a recorded discusssion. He is dedicated to filling the ether with information that he thinks can help.
We make a lot of biochar out of wood waste. Why and how is related to the carbon fiasco on planet earth. We have a vegetable garden that does go to trade (when there is surplus) and want to share insight to land use for those who are landless peasants like ourselves.
