The vocabulary hills the intrepid guardians of acceptable words choose to die upon are endlessly mystifying and amusing. It is said that the average number of words in the lexicon of common parlance is 20,000. So evidently,19,999 just won’t do, We will not let them take our words, gosh darn it!!
