This psyop is part of a series of events involving the controlled opposition outlet Red Army Faction (RAF) between the 1970 and 1998 in the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany).
The escape of Andreas Baader from imprisonment in Berlin was the opening act of the series of events in Germany called Baader-Meinhof-Gang or Red Army Faction.
Official summary
In 1968 Andreas Baader and his girlfriend Gudrun Ensslin were convicted of the arson bombing of a department store in Frankfurt am Main to protest what they regarded as the public's "indifference to the genocide in Vietnam". No-one was injured or killed.
After being sentenced, Baader and Ensslin fled in November 1969. They were smuggled out of West Germany by sympathizers and made the tour of the left-wing communities of France, Switzerland, and Italy before re-entering West Germany covertly.
Baader was later caught at a traffic stop for speeding on 4 April 1970. He showed a fake driver's license in the name of Peter Chotjewitz, but was arrested when he failed to answer personal questions like the names and ages of Chotjewitz's children.
The group became known as the Baader-Meinhof Group. Baader and others then spent some time in a Fatah military training camp in Jordan before being expelled due to "differences in attitudes". Back in Germany, Baader robbed banks and bombed buildings from 1970 to 1972. Although he never obtained a driver's licence, Baader was obsessed with driving. He regularly stole expensive sports cars for use by the gang, and was arrested driving an Iso Rivolta IR 300.
On 1 June 1972, Baader and fellow RAF members Jan-Carl Raspe and Holger Meins were apprehended after a lengthy shootout in Frankfurt.
Official description of the escape action
At 9:45 am on Thursday, May 14, 1970, Andreas Baader was handcuffed by two sergeants to the reading room of the library institute on Miquelstraße 83 in Berlin-Dahlem. Ulrike Meinhof was waiting for him there. In the room were the two judicial officials, Baader, Meinhof and an institute employee. Baader and Meinhof sat around a table for about 75 minutes, exchanging magazines and taking notes.
During this time, Goergens and Schubert entered the building. They were assigned the hallway in front of the reading room as a workspace. At about 11 o'clock they opened the front door of the building for a masked man. Still in the hall this masked man shot at the institute employee Georg Linke and injured him perilously at the arm and the liver.
Goergens, Schubert and the masked man stormed into the reading room with the call "Hands up, or we shoot", Schubert with a pistol Reck P 8, caliber 6.35 mm and Goergens with a small-bore rifle Landmann-Preetz, caliber 22 with sawed off shaft, that was previously hidden in her briefcase. The two judicial officials fought back, in the scuffle a judicial officer and the liberators started shooting.
After a gunfire from a teargas gun that injured one of the law enforcement officers, all the perpetrators managed to jump out of a window about one and a half meters above the ground and escape. Outside they ran to the previously parked Alfa Romeo with Astrid Proll at the wheel. The group changed several times the vehicles, but did not leave Berlin. The police lost track of the group.
Fakeology Analysis
The controlled opposition outlet Red Army Faction (RAF) had a leading role in controlling and destroying the genuine social discontent about the Viet Nam War and the militarization of police and society in Germany in general.
The escape of Andreas Baader was a publicly conducted staged event aiming at convincing the public perception that it was the beginning of a radicalization of the members of the group.
Although we can not rule out that various sympathizers or even members of the group were acting without having realized that they were part of an intelligence operation of the transnational intelligence apparatus, it is our working hypothesis that the Red Army Faction was a set up outlet and all acts attributed to them from the beginning were staged, manufactured or even virtual.
