I am indebted to a child psychologist. Scott Wooding, involved in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash hoax process for putting me onto the 2003 Connaught Creek Valley avalanche in British Columbia which he also was involved in as a “grief counsellor”

How can you help family through the trauma of the Humboldt bus crash? Talk about it

Could this also have been a staged event?
    Let’s investigate.

Saturday 1 February 2003 killed seven teenagers in the Columbia Mountains at the foot of Mount Cheops east of Revelstoke, following another avalanche which had killed seven adult skiers on 20 January 2003

… some 5 km west of the Rogers Pass summit, scene of the 1910 avalanche disaster.[Rogers Pass Snowslide **]
The 14 scholars and their three adult group leaders, two of whom were experienced skiers and trained in avalanche education, were from Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School near Okotoks.
Some 35 rescuers with helicopters soon reached the scene *, and within 80 minutes of the avalanche the 10 survivors and 7 fatalities had been located.

That’s the bare bones of the official narrative.

featuring key witnesses Rich/Rick Watkins and Abby Marshall, who pop up in the 2015 “re-emergence” article cited below

Alex [Pattillo] and six other Grade 10 students from Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School in Okotoks died 10 years ago today when a massive avalanche swept down Mount Cheops near Revelstoke.

The school group, made up of 14 private school students and three adults, had been skiing in the area. The other victims were Jeffrey Trickett, Scott Broshko, Marissa Staddon, Daniel Arato, Ben Albert and Michael Shaw.

the helicopter fleet looks like a drill

It was a tragedy that touched people across Canada, stirred a national debate over outdoor education safety and is still talked about around the world.

Pattillo remembers Calgary being “shell-shocked.” Funerals for the teens were packed.

a “prestigious private school” …what came out of the event?

..a 58-page report that spurred schools nationwide to examine their policies.
“This was the biggest event ever that forced schools to sit up and take a look at what they were doing,”

    rrrright.

And a lucky survivor story emerges 12 years later
    http://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/buried-alive-an-avalanche-survivor-breaks-his-silence/
Will Johnson, one of the kids who walked away that day, is ready to break the silence.
It’s a rambling story which has been well crafted, perhaps by an English major. Can we believe any of it? He’s also a hero, having survived and dug out, he became a “first responder” e.g.
When he was finally able to overcome the shock, Johnson and a girl from his class who had been saved minutes after him got to work on the first burial site. They had a single shovel between them, and dug until their lungs burned and their arms felt like cinderblocks.
    * In under an hour, seven helicopters, 48 rescuers and three rescue dogs were on the hill. Johnson continued to perform CPR until paramedics came and asked how long they’d been trying to revive their friend. [not named and unsuccessful, we are led to believe]

    A few red flags there.

    ** video

The crew consisted of a locomotive-driven rotary snowplow and 63 men
The only survivor was Billy Lachance the locomotive fireman who had been knocked over by the wind accompanying the fall but otherwise remained unscathed

When news of the disaster reached nearby Revelstoke a relief train consisting of 200 railmen, physicians and nurses was sent to the scene. They found no casualties to treat; it became a mission to clear the tracks and recover the bodies beneath 10 metres of snow. Many of the dead were found standing upright, frozen in position, reminiscent of Pompeii. 62 workers were killed. Among the dead were 32 Japanese workers

I am more suspicious than when I first came across this event today. And curiously, the 2015 article was twice archived, for the first time, in the past two days!

Of course, the younger brother of Justin Trudeau [bedside visitor to Humboldt Broncos hockey ‘injured’] was allegedly killed in an avalanche in 1998

    http://www.cbc.ca/archives/entry/1998-michel-trudeau-lost-in-bc-avalanche
He was swept down into cold Kokanee Lake, where he is presumed drowned. His friends survived, including one who was also swept in but managed to swim to shore. The grim task ahead is to recover Michel’s body, but low cloud cover is preventing a search team from getting to the remote site.

    Be very suspicious
20th Anniversary Nov 13 2018 this year, please note. [Bataclan night, btw]

Six months before Michel Trudeau’s death 20 years ago during an avalanche in the Kokanee Mountain range of British Columbia, he was apparently in a serious car accident on his way home to Montreal.

As the investigating cops helped the 23-year-old Trudeau gather up his belongings that had been scattered along the roadside, they came across a couple of marijuana joints in a Sucrets can.

This would have been in 1998.

The above story may not be true, it can’t be verified, in the same way the avalanche ‘death’ can’t either.
Trudeau revealed the little-known fact about his brother, who died in a B.C. avalanche about 20 years ago, during a broadcast interview with Vice Media on Monday night about the government’s plan to legalize marijuana.

Fantastic research X! I wonder where brother Michel is now – perhaps he’s leading the country as Justin? Just freeballing here but am sure an Avalanche agency emerged after this one.
