Interesting new vid on 9/11 symbolism in the Back to the Future movies:

The album is the 16th fastest selling album in UK chart history, selling over 310,000 copies in its first week. The band had gained success, worldwide, with their previous three records.
Now check this out
Go to 8:30 to hear a very interesting interview with Liam Gallagher the lead singer. When asked about the album cover he actually says ” Yeh, I thought I’d pay you respect yeh, before they blow you up and that, yeh?”

These feckers all knew. It was “a 30 year old conspiracy”.
We were asleep.

September 11th: A Warning From HollywoodAs millions of people watched the horrific spectacle of the Twin Towers collapsing after the September 11th terrorist attacks, many eye-witnesses and survivors compared the dramatic images to a Hollywood movie.
Speaking exclusively to Panorama, top Hollywood producers, directors and writers explain why many films seemed to predict the atrocities of September 11th.
“This looks like a movie – my movie.”

French high-wire artist Philippe Petit’s tightrope walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre in August 1974 was dubbed “The Artistic Crime of the Century” for the purposes of the 2008 doc. (Of course, Supertramp’s “Crime of the Century” song often ends Ab’s radio broadcasts. 🙂 )
Loving the blurb for “The Walk” movie on the Sony Pictures website:
“Twelve people have walked on the moon, but only one man – Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – has ever, or will ever, walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers.”
http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/thewalk/🙄
“The Walk” is directed by Robert Zemeckis of “Back to the Future” fame, one of countless movies featuring 9/11 symbolism.
Here’s “The Walk” official trailer: https://youtu.be/GR1EmTKAWIw
And the website: http://thewalkmovie.tumblr.com/
“The Walk” looks like a big CGI mess but, like 9/11, it’s so badly-scripted and acted it could be fun!

You certainly have two “towers” with one on fire. Some say the sewer plate is also two towers.
And a similar image from Suzanne Vega’s “Book and Cover” video referenced earlier in this thread (inverted):

Anything’s possible eh? 😉

“A highly controversial virtual reality simulator is due to be released which allows gamers to live out the horrific final moments of the devastating 9/11 terror attacks which left nearly 3,000 people dead.
Titled ‘8:46’ after the exact time the first hijacked plane was flown into the North Tower, the shocking ‘game’ has been slammed by social media users as deeply inappropriate and ‘sick’.
Gamers play an officer worker, who is trapped inside the World Trade Centre and has to make decisions on what to do next to survive.”

Here we go again, Mr Dalpra.
We all know the Supertramp 1979 album cover Breakfast in America and that flipping it reveals the 911 above the Towers. However, I never quite got the glass of orange juice.
Russianvids breaks it down.
November 23, 2015 at 8:47 pm #479428Tom DalpraParticipantOrange… Yes, I have that Supertramp album cover framed on my wall just to the left of me. The orange appropriate for New Amsterdam, perhaps?
I glanced across at it and wondered, for a moment, when you posted this picture on the Lockerbie thread.

Re-posted. xilef found that one. I guess orange juice belongs on the same list as the number codes, blue and white striped shirts and black umbrellas.
November 26, 2015 at 9:34 am #481448Tom DalpraParticipantThis classic shot is worth a mention.
I was reminded of it when reading loopDloop’s thread on Letsrollforums
http://letsrollforums.com//back-future-vs-walk-t31555p4.html
The thread shows how Bob Zemeckis, who made both Back to the Future and The Walk, is certainly ‘up to something’ in that film too, as predicted by Carys earlier in this thread. Back to the Future Day, the 21st October 2015 came as Zemeckis’ new film – official release date September 30th – was just neatly in the cinemas.
We remember the key scene in Back to the Future involves attaching a wire to a tower. The Wire is all about attaching wires to towers.
There’s a sartorial reference.
Most strikingly though, perhaps, is the find that the actual date the clock froze
on the clock tower in Back to the Future, was ”10-04 on the night of November 12, 1955”.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088763/synopsis?ref_=ttpl_ql_3A sixty year leap from this date with the adjustment for time difference would put that ”Back to the Future Day” at November 13th 2015.in Paris France.
With Zemeckis’ new film giving a big nod to both Paris and New York (twin Towers specifically) the connection looks clear and that date more likely the ‘real’ Back to the Future Day.
===========
A small further note on The Wire is that in the film, just as Petit decides to go to New York (if my memory serves me ) he spins a globe in his office which fills our screens for a few moments.
