Is the Aurora Borealis visible from space? NASA seems to think so. I was always under the impression that it wasn’t a physical entity but more like a mirage in a desert or like a rainbow. Is it possible to see a rainbow in the vacuum of space? Is it not merely the byproduct of moisture in the air with the right amount of sunlight?
