— is a picture is worth a thousand words ? —
sometimes, i’d say ! there are images that just illustrate ideas in such forceful ways, and i’m glad that members such as Carys made the effort to contribute with their artworks as the images and layout evoke my enthusiasm, interest and very often remind of hours of research and audio before seeing getting the picture…
it would be nice to see new images and artworks on top of the Fakeologist page. this thread is meant to be a place where you are invited to upload your images and artwork in order that each contribution be referenced, stored and made available for Ab, members & visitors !
technically there are not definite rules for your artworks, and hopefully Ab will chime in on the text later…
what i used for my banners is the following:
the banner art should be made as one standalone image for web containing all your text and images.
the Fakeologist banner & image size is 960x250px (wide/high).for text i’ve used the following for my layout (thanks for updating this Ab) :
—
1. Fakeologist logo (big/bold/black for the logo; font : Myriad Pro ?)
‘Fakeologist’
2. Fakeologis slogan (medium/bold; font : Myriad Pro ?)
‘Exposing media Fakery one psyOp at a time’
3. Fakeologist Radio (regular/italic; font : Myriad Pro ?)
‘Live most Saturday evenings 9:11 EST at Fakeologist.com’
4. Image Title / Theme title (light/slim Italic)
‘Seeing IS Believing’ (exemple from my banner’s hereunder with Ray & Stevie)

April 8, 2015 at 8:44 pm #232269Tom DalpraParticipantI know Jerry Lee Lewis said Ray Charles could see, but I’m not buying Ray Charles as a con artist, yet.
Stevie Wonder, yeh. I can see that.
But where’s any research on Ray Charles being a con?
I can certainly tell you he was a brilliant musician and singer.Maybe I missed something?
and maybe he can see, but I’m not comfortable with that one.
A banner like that could be a way to devalue good research.(I don’t like the McCartney or the Elvis banner for similar reasons. Maybe I’m just a sucker for those rock’n’rollers?)
On the other hand, Stevie Wonder taking a photograph of Michael Jackson, is perfect.

April 8, 2015 at 9:24 pm #232304FakeologistKeymasterYes I agree it may be crossing a line Tom. I have removed one of my own banners for misleading and potentially harming the research here. What do others think here?
April 9, 2015 at 12:23 am #232404UnrealParticipanthi Tom Dalpra,
regarding Ray Charles, i’m of the opinion that he used blindness to succeed as an artist, just as Stevie Wonder after him. both Charles & Wonder were great musicians, no doubt. the thing is that once you start becoming a fan of a particular group/peson you tend to start treating them, what they do and who they are differently,,,
on the subject of ‘faleokology’ what proof do we have of anything ? we have mostly fake evidence, or lack of evidence,,, mostly what we persue here is the research around fakery and mediamanipulation.
i believe Ray Charles to be able to see, as Lewis (& other sources) say, but i have no more proof of this than regarding Stevie (a photo & some film may be faker / tampered with) & no ‘proof’ that would hold up in court…
i’m ok with the banner being taken off line though, but it raises some interesting questions,,,
April 9, 2015 at 9:59 am #232701aralseaMemberI get the humour in the Stevie Wonder taking a picture of MJ, but I know a blind person who actually took photographs. You see (no pun intended) blind people are…well people. The ones I have known are not offended by you saying …did you SEE that movie yesterday? They want to live as normal life as anyone because, they ARE normal…they just cant see or are legally blind (low or impaired vision). I never liked the Stevie Wonder story because he simply reached out to grab a microphone stand or whatever it was. Blind people can sometimes feel the object with their senses just like you can hear or sense a wall behind you when you are close enough.
Blind people learn to utilize their other senses more because they have to. I know another blind guy who gets around quite well on crowded buses everyday to work (yes he even has a full-time job) and counted steps he took to cross familiar intersections.
So for Stevie to catch that object is not far fetched to me at all.
regards
Aral SeaApril 9, 2015 at 11:37 am #232767UnrealParticipantHi again Aral Sea,
i definately see your point, there might be exceptions as you mention.
according to research by Dave McGowan or John Coleman it still seems undeniable that the PRC use the entertaiment industry in a big way and that most of the big names put before us are carefully scripted. i tend to lend credence to their research and it sure hurts that most of our “idols” probably are manufactured,,
in the case with Stevie Wonder & Ray Charles, they both are quite talented. Even so, both most likely use/used their “handicap” to gain more more popularity and leverage the race barrier to their advantage, that’s my 2 cents !
April 9, 2015 at 5:52 pm #232958CarysParticipantAll good points. Having persisted in making it so far, new visitors to the site should be encouraged to enquire further, which is what’s intended with the artwork, rather than be scared off by any images that could be easily misunderstood.
Perhaps just stick with the ones where the community has formed a clear and evidenced viewpoint (9/11, terror flights etc.) rather than any areas still under research/debate (globe earth psyOp, DCP, Stevie…)
Coincidentally, I came across this today in a copy of the Sun newspaper left behind on a train! Odd it should be news at all.

To Unreal
Re Ray Charles blindness, I found this article below where an ex wife claims he faked it. Maybe UN has a point.
I’d never heard the idea before, but would an ex wife really make that up?
Why? It could well be true.Ray Charles fake blindness? Je ne c’est pas exactemente, mon copain, mais je croix c’est possible.
I shall have to look a bit more.

April 10, 2015 at 8:54 am #233453rgosParticipantLike the new banners. Especially the Wonder shot.
It works well on girlfriends/wives who are fed up with your obsessed fakeology research:
1. Show them the banner
2. Ask: Who’s that there on the right?
3. And who’s that there on the left?
4. What’s he doing?
5. Watch their reaction.April 10, 2015 at 8:58 am #233454rgosParticipant(I don’t like the McCartney or the Elvis banner for similar reasons. Maybe I’m just a sucker for those rock’n’rollers?)
Come on, Tom. Get with the program already!

Sonja Cercek had just married six months ago in 2014.

Indeed Stefanie’s school put up a tribute page to her.

It doesn’t look much like the “official” photo, does it? Any mention of parents, siblings? Of course not.
April 10, 2015 at 8:15 pm #233834Tom DalpraParticipantahem, thanks Blue. Yes, it’s satire.
I don’t want to side-track this creative thread by going-on about
these musicians but…Come on, Tom. Get with the program already!
what program is that rgos?
The program that says Paul McCartney is a different Paul McCartney than
played at the Cavern, that Ray Charles wasn’t blind and that
Elvis definitely faked his death? If that is this ‘program’ of yours, I don’t want to be on it. Yet, anyway!
My questions are the same:
– What’s fake about Elvis and McCartney and where’s the evidence?
– Where’s any (real) evidence that Ray Charles wasn’t blind?I can be swayed. I’m interested, it’s possible, but where’s the evidence? Where’s the argument?

On pictures that tell a story, I like this one from the 1989 River Thames classic, The Marchioness Disaster.
Who looks more spooked here? The lucky survivor or the policewoman?

April 30, 2015 at 5:36 pm #252347Tom DalpraParticipantHaving just been confronted with this banner on the site, I have to say
that I have a big issue with it.
I enjoy Bluemoon’s writing. It’s nothing personal. I don’t mean to be impudent. Just specifically on this banner, I don’t like it and I think it undermines the credibility of the site, just a little to have a big visual clanger like that.1) ‘C’mon Everybody’ is a famous Eddie Cochran song. There’s no relevance.
2)’ Shake the fake’ Elvis had only one song called All Shook Up and the reference is weak. Jerry Lee Lewis, maybe, yes, but not really Elvis.
3) What was fake about Elvis? I’m perfectly happy to listen to any theory, but I haven’t seen any credible proof that he was ‘fake’ in any way, really.
We have two photographs here. One of a young Elvis and one of an older Elvis.
So what? The thing with Elvis was that he got very publicly fucked-up.
There’s plenty of evidence of that. He was clearly over weight, sweating and on some serious drugs at the end.
He was still a good singer though. You can’t fake that, I don’t think.
Many tried with Elvis but they couldn’t quite pull it off.It was the same guy at the end.
Did they fake his death? Maybe.
But he was a genuine artist. A fucked-up one, controlled, sure, but not a fake one, in any way I understand. The banner is a debacle as far as I’m concerned.
( Sorry Blue! Nothing personal! Though with a sobriquet like Blue Moon, I’d thought you might have had more of a grip on some of the old rock’n’roll characters, you might know something I don’t. Tell me what you think’s fake about Elvis. )

April 30, 2015 at 7:24 pm #252419FakeologistKeymasterTom, I agree with you. I’ll remove it from the rotation. The only thing that I think was fake was his death story. I tend to believe he’s in the DCP for reasons written by me before.
