Gen. Mike Flynn = White Al Qaeda + Vanilla ISIS

Unread post by SaiGirl »

This is a Blue Pilled media agitprop hack constructing a major role for Gen. Michael Flynn in the Trump story.

Should Trump be written out of the script prematurely, by a staged "assassination", then General Flynn will likely emerge as one of those Pentagon / CIA media actors ready to trigger a "civil war" scenario.

An interesting question pertaining to staged assassinations, is whether the outcomes sometimes go awry. This is what was claimed by the late Israeli "conspiracy theorist" Barry. Chamish, in his special take on the "Assassination of Yitzchak Rabin".

Chamish described a situation similar to the movie "Rust" incident with Alec Baldwin.
In his scenario, Rabin's troubled re-election campaign staged a fake assassination attempt in order to create some drama and sympathy in the waning days of the campaign. But somehow his entourage was infiltrated by political enemies, and a real bullet got into the prop gun.
Rabin's widowed wife was bitter at the bloody result, we are told. Chanish's scenario seems unduly convoluted.
But even staged events (like movie sets) can have occasional mishaps.
So it's not completely outside the realm of possibility.
Like with the more recent movie set of "Rust".

Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin has been assassinated.

Mr Rabin was shot three times at close range in the stomach and chest by an assailant as he left a peace rally in Tel Aviv earlier on Saturday.

He was taken to hospital in Tel Aviv where he later died.

The gunman, named as Yigal Amir, was rapidly overpowered and arrested.

The rally at which Mr Rabin was shot was attended by about 100,000 Israelis who back the Rabin government's peace initiatives with the Palestinians.

Current panic on the “left” over “Q” and General Michael Flynn.

What I found interesting were Stewartson's explanations of "ARG" (Alternate Reality Game) operations and LARPs (Live Action Role Play).

"OAN" ("One America News") is a diehard MAGA Trump network.
Stewartson is denouncing it as "Russian propaganda".

Project 100,000 = Mobilizing Morons for War

Unread post by SaiGirl »

Sec. of Defense Robert McNamara envisioned the Vietnam war as an opportunity to use the US military draft as a way to socially re-engineer the "morons" (low IQ soldiers).

The Vietnam War, the military daft and the "Generation Gap"

Unread post by SaiGirl »

The popular music of the period reflected the mood.

Initially, there was a sense of humor, mockery and mellow, good natured "hippie" rebellion.

1967

But within two years, as the marches, demonstrations and student strikes exploded on campuses across the country, attitudes hardened.

The televised violence of both police and anti-war protesters peaked at the Democratic Presidential Convention in Chicago (Summer of 1968).

By 1969 the alienation, bitterness, rage and defiance of authority was boiling over. And it mushroomed into the ultimate "bad trip".

Here is the original version of a classic song from the period ,later covered by Bob Seeger and other artists.
There is probably no other popular song that has ever moved me like this one.
Whenever I listen to the original, I still feel the blood surge of rebellion, as though it were half a century ago. You cannot imagine the intensity of emotion during that time. As the cliche goes "You had to be there."

We marched to this music in huge packs, right down the middle of the street, with or without "permits", spoiling for a fight.
This song was powerful messaging.
It drove us into the streets by the thousands, and into direct confrontation with the cops; and ultimately National Guard troops deployed in response.

Invading the Dominican Republic - LBJ in 1965

Unread post by SaiGirl »

LBJ Regretted Ordering U.S. Troops into Dominican Republic in 1965, White House Tapes Confirm;
Yet He Insisted, "I'd do the same thing right this second."

Dominican Intervention 50 Years Ago Sparked Mainly by Fear of Communists:
"I Sure Don't Want to Wake Up ... and Find Out Castro's in Charge," President Said

New Transcripts of Key White House Tapes Clarify and Illuminate LBJ's Personal Role in Decision-Making during the Crisis
National Security Archive Electronic Briefing Book No. 513

==============
That's THEIR version.
My memory is different:
A "leftist", Juan Bosch, was elected president of the Dominican Republic.
And so LBJ sent in troops to remove him.
=====================================

Entering office on February 27, 1963, Bosch faced serious problems at the outset of his term. The United States was at odds with Fidel Castro’s government in Cuba and leery of the slightest hint of leftist politics in the Caribbean. This fear was fed by damaging reports of the new regime from a skeptical U.S. ambassador in the Dominican Republic. Bosch’s constitution of April 29, liberal and democratic, alienated four powerful groups in the country: landholders, even small ones, were frightened by his prohibition against latifundia (large plantation-type farms); the Roman Catholic church was angered by the secular nature of the constitution; industrialists felt the constitution was worker-oriented; and the military considered that its powers were curtailed. On September 25, 1963, the military deposed Bosch. Two years later his followers staged a rebellion in hopes of returning Bosch to power. The United States, fearful of a communist revolution, sent troops to end the revolt.

============================================================
Why was this significant to me?
Because it was consistent with an earlier "canceled election" in Vietnam:
In 1956, Ho Chi Minh was confident that the Viet Minh would win the reunification elections scheduled for that July. Fearing the Communists would indeed win, Diem, with the approval of the United States, refused to hold those elections. Ho and the Viet Minh saw no solution but a military one. Thus the second--and American--Indochina war began.

Gradually, over the next three years, down from the north, down the rugged Ho Chi Minh Trail through Laos and Cambodia, flowed men, arms, and materiel for communist forces in the south. Regrouped, reorganized, and rearmed, this band of guerrillas--called Viet Cong, slang for "Vietnamese Communist"--began to wage a war of terrorism, sabotage, and subversion against the Diem regime.

Now you have some sense of how those of us paying attention to this narrative became "radicalized".
We simply got sick and tired of being LIED to by those in authority, whom we had been told to respect and obey.

Thus, before the emergence of a truly contentious "generation gap" (between the "Baby Boomers" and their elders) we had already lived through several years of what the media called "the credibility gap".

For the benefit of non-US readers

Unread post by SaiGirl »

The refusal of the "Washington Post" and "LA Times" and "USA Today" to endorse any candidate, is already a "headline" item here in the US.

Even though the "Washington Post" readership is declining catastrophically by the moment.
They probably have to run at a loss, which is no problem for Jeff Bezos since he can write it off as a tax deduction.

Still, following recent panicky speeches by John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and UN Secretary-General António Guterres on the shaky state of institutional legitimacy and the wild "out of control" conspiracy talk on social media, it comes as no surprise that Bezos can openly admit the obvious.

The collapse of legacy media leads to a vacuum.
And nothing is more dangerous or destabilizing to any society than a power vacuum.
