While the spotlight is on the border drama in Texas, there appears to be business as usual.

So why, in the middle of this school play, does the Governor fly off to India?

Why? Because that's what was written into the script.

They are "reclaiming" 62 acres of land, allegedly to build an "immigrant processing center".
