" The scientific consensus is that the evidence showing HIV to be the cause of AIDS is conclusive and that HIV/AIDS denialist claims are pseudoscience based on conspiracy theories, faulty reasoning, cherry picking, and misrepresentation of mainly outdated scientific data " - wiki
-
The notion of "scientific consensus" is interesting and for most most of us quite convincing. Much of the magic in all medical fraud does require such medical consensus, hence a large part of the trick is how this is actually achieved. It's very clear that most if not all research originates or at least is controlled by schools and universities. And education is mostly gouverned by obscure parts of the state, big money and "charity" - or at least have very influential schoolboards.
-
Scientific consensus is achieved through scholarly communication at conferences, the publication process, replication of reproducible results by others, scholarly debate, and peer review. Consensus generally implies agreement of the supermajority*, though not necessarily unanimity. -wiki

* supermajority is a requirement for a proposal to gain a specified level of support greater than a half as in the habitual, simple majority. Like two-thirds (66.6%), three-fifths (60%) or even just 55%.

May 2015
In 2014, Ebola virus outbreak spread from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. It had spread rapidly since early 2014 and the frequency was higher in the late December, but currently situation is becoming normal now. Ebola Outbreak of 2014 had proved to be more deadly than that of previously known epidemics. Till 24th October 2014, there have been 10,141 confirmed cases with 4,922 deaths and then it has reached to 27,049 cases and 11,149 deaths till 24th May 2015. No vaccine could be developed to halt the epidemic and disease was spreading to larger areas. World Health Organization undertook immediate action plan to launch vaccines after proper clinical trials. Multiple experimental vaccines were proposed with higher efficiency in in vivo experimental models but with uncertainties for their human use. There are multiple reasons for the rapid spread of this virus and due to high mutational variations in its genome brought about a bigger challenge between experimental vaccines, which worked well on animals but uncertain in humans. The article highlights some immense controversies and hurdles that different research group pertain to come for eradication of Ebola since December 2013. There is a hope that soon there will be an effective vaccine against EBOV which will greatly help to manage any future Ebola outbreak.

A review of medications used to control and improve the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 patients

Abstract
In December 2019, an unprecedented outbreak of pneumonia associated with a novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) emerged in Wuhan City, Hubei province, China. The virus that caused the disease was officially named by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). According to the high transmission rate of SARS-CoV-2, it became a global pandemic and public health emergency within few months. Since SARS-CoV-2 is genetically 80% homologous with the SARS-CoVs family, it is hypothesized that medications developed for the treatment of SARS-CoVs may be useful in the control and management of SARS-CoV-2. In this regard, some medication being tested in clinical trials and in vitro studies include anti-viral RNA polymerase inhibitors, HIV-protease inhibitors, anti-inflammatory agents, angiotensin converting enzyme type 2 (ACE 2) blockers, and some other novel medications. In this communication, we reviewed the general characteristics of medications, medical usage, mechanism of action, as well as SARS-CoV-2 related trials.

Blood "infected" with HIV and Hep C "virus"

Unread post by xileffilex »

Where are Sam Bailey, Kevin Corbett et al when we need them? We read that the UK government [after a lawyer-enriching "inquiry"] is going to print millions of pounds sterling to give to those allegedly infected [and the relatives of the since deceased] victims of the so-called INFECTED BLOOD SCANDAL.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-69045362

May 21 2024
Infected blood victims could get £2m compensation

Probably the best starting point - the summary from the Haemophilia Society in the UK
https://haemophilia.org.uk/public-inqui ... d-scandal/
In the 1970s and 1980s about 6,000 people with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders were treated with contaminated clotting factors containing HIV and hepatitis viruses. Some of those unintentionally infected their partners, often because they were unaware of their own infection. Since then more than 3,000 people have died. Around 1,250 people were infected with HIV, including 380 children. Less than 250 are still alive.

Since the Infected Blood Inquiry was announced in July 2017, we estimate that at least a further 710 people infected and affected by this scandal will have died by the time its final report is published in May 2024. This is a health disaster which continues to take and devastate lives.
We are told that this "contaminated blood" came from the USA due to an alleged shortage in the UK. [so where is the infected blood scandal in the USA?]
In the 1970s, the NHS could not meet the demand for blood domestically. One factor causing rising demand was the invention and roll-out of new treatments made from blood products The NHS sourced around 50% of its blood and blood-derived products from abroad, including the USA. In the USA, donors were paid for giving blood, which attracted people from groups which were more likely to have hepatitis C or HIV. Blood was initially not screened for the viruses.

In 1975, the UK government committed to self-sufficiency of blood stock in the NHS by July 1977.[2] The Department of Health allocated £0.5mn to the goal. Contemporary comment in the British Medical Journal noted that the goal was not met. In addition to the need for donors, the UK’s ability to process blood into products required by people with clotting problems was struggling to scale up with demand. The UK continued to rely on imported blood.

Blood services only began routinely "screening for hepatitis B in 1972, for HIV in 1985, and for hepatitis C in 1991.
Background - HIV does not cause AIDS, video Dr Sam Bailey
https://odysee.com/@drsambailey:c/the-y ... part-one:c

Sooooo...we are not told how the alleged victims died. Were they diagnosed with HIV after a "test" for the non-existent viruses and then killed by the treatment?

The non-existent Hep C "virus" has its own wiki page - there's even a picture of it "purified" [lol!] from cell culture [lol!]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hepatitis_C_virus

I can't located a Bailey video on Hepatitis C.
Is this another publicly funded exercise to prop up the virus scam?

And one famous hepatitis C victim, apparently as a result of a blood transfusion in 1971, was Body Shop founder Anita Roddick.

Illness
In 2004, Roddick was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis due to long-standing hepatitis C. She did not reveal her illness until 14 February 2007. Roddick said, "I have hepatitis C. It's a bit of a bummer, but you groan and move on". She subsequently promoted the work of The Hepatitis C Trust, and campaigned to increase awareness of the disease. On 30 August 2007, less than two weeks before her death, Roddick was a special guest in an episode of the live television programme Doctor, Doctor broadcast on Channel 5 in the UK. She discussed hepatitis C with the presenter and general practitioner, Mark Porter.

Roddick explained that her hepatitis C was unexpectedly diagnosed in 2004, following a blood test that was part of a medical examination needed for a life insurance policy. The blood test indicated abnormal liver function and subsequent blood tests diagnosed hepatitis C. Roddick explained that she had a large blood transfusion in 1971, after the birth of her younger daughter, and that she was convinced that the transfusion had infected her with hepatitis C. This was about twenty years before blood donors in the United Kingdom were screened for hepatitis C.

She reported that she had developed cirrhosis of the liver, and that her main symptoms were itching and poor concentration. She briefly mentioned that medical treatment with interferon did not suit her. Roddick explained that she kept fit and active, and that she attended biannual out-patient hospital appointments in Southampton, as well as being under review by the liver transplant team at the Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

Death
Roddick died of a massive stroke (acute bleed in the brain) at about 6:30pm on 10 September 2007, after being admitted to St Richard's Hospital, Chichester the previous evening suffering from a severe headache. As promised earlier, she left her estate to charities rather than to her family and friends. When details of her estate were published, it was disclosed that she had donated all of her £51 million fortune upon her death.

That would be September 11th, 2007, in somewhere like Australia. And that's 18 months after she sold Body Shop to L'Oréal for £652 million on 17 March 2006. But only seven months after the media reveals she has hepatitis C. The wiki article is actually quite interesting because of all the apparent scam charity activism she was involved in...
Between 2009 and 2014, the Roddick Foundation gave four grants totalling £120,000 to CAGE, an organisation led by Mozzam Begg, that aimed "to raise awareness of the plight of the prisoners at Guantánamo Bay and other detainees held as part of the War on Terror".

HIV and Hepatitis C often go together

Unread post by xileffilex »

Hep C symptoms are fairly general.
How is it diagnosed? By our old friends [Covid19 passim] Antibody test and PCR test.
https://www.hepctrust.org.uk/about-hep-c/testing/

Are you feeling confident?
97% of people who complete treatment for hepatitis C are cured of the virus.

Treatment for hepatitis C is simple. It usually involves taking tablets daily for 8 to 12 weeks.
https://www.hepctrust.org.uk/about-hep-c/treatment/
This is all very general.
it is very hard to transmit HCV unless there is direct blood-to-blood contact.
Hep C and HIV can be found together. In fact, sharing syringes, anal sex and other lifestyles are examples of "transmission". Of course blood transfusions are quite separate.
Most patients are diagnosed [with Hep C] because they have a risk factor for hepatitis C, rather than experiencing symptoms.
which seems like a fishing expedition. We are told that "having" HIV can make the it harder for the body to fight off Hepatitis C => more risk of cirrhosis of the liver. [how does that occur?]
https://www.hepatitis.va.gov/pdf/hiv-hc ... ection.pdf
The hepatitis C virus slowly damages the liver over many years, often progressing from inflammation to permanent, irreversible scarring (cirrhosis). Often, people have no signs or symptoms ** of liver disease or have only mild symptoms for years or even decades until they develop cirrhosis.
** another of our old friends, the asymptomatic condition, just waiting for a "test" to come along.

Where's the virus? Ah, here it is, on the wiki page, no source provided

Anyway, here's a new [2021] purification procedure for Hepatitis C virus which wouldn't satisfy messrs Cowan and Kaufman
Here's the nitty gritty
Two New Purification Methods of Hepatitis C Virus Particles from Serum-Free Culture System
Zhou et al - Hepatitis Monthly: Vol.21, issue 6;
After concentration by centrifugal filter devices, HCV particles were purified by heparin-affinity chromatography and magnetic separation technique. The purified viruses were detected by the western blot and immune-electron microscopy.
Results: The infectious titer of JFH-1 transfected Huh7.5.1 in the serum-free culture medium was 4.5 × 104 FFU/mL, and HCV ribonucleic acid load was 3.946 × 106 IU/mL in 30 days of cell culture post-transfection. After purification by heparin-affinity chromatography or magnetic separation method, viral particles were visualized with spherical morphology and an average diameter of 55 nm assessed by electron microscopy. The viruses were confirmed by the western blot and immune-electron microscopy with specific antibodies to HCV.
here they are...

is that compelling?

I agree it's the red flag for me, you need a test to know if you are sick, even before covid it made me suspicious. I wouldn't go out of my way to test this theory though.

The thing that I don't understand with HIV, while it probably helped in promoting condoms worldwide, its main target were gay people and the people in power are to put it simply "a bunch of sodomites" to quote Mag so why would they want to prevent gay people from having unprotected anal sex ? does it have something to do with the rituals that allegedly use the same practice ?
