Also: Technical terms like "black" or "white" are so generic they are blanket generalizations about POORLY defined categories, based on skin shade.
What about MIXED RACE individuals, like the "Cape Coloreds" of South Africa?
Most North American and many South American "blacks" are really mulatto, quadroon, or some other mixtures of genetic legacy.
You can see the historical and genetic reality of it in their faces.
Most ordinary Mexicans and Central Americans bear the appearance of "los indios": native heritage.
So should I generalize about them based on that observation?

We lose the individual when we impose blanket generalizations on the collective based on the shallowest of visual or physical criteria.
