2021 was a good time to air them or warm them up.

Paul Berriff from Yorkshire was nearby and rushed to the WTC to interview firefighters, knocked unconscious for 30 minutes as WTC 2 collapsed on top of him...hmmm

These are really great, they interviewed many Jews in the last 20 years.

I suggest you pick a random one, and you can find many seemingly real testimonies. (they never talk on the holocaust, just their village, the stress they felt which I can get into)

But there are also these weird testimonies. Hyperdetailed. What people said. Atrocity after atrocity.

The difference is very clear. Those on the front page are the atrocity testimonies (not surprising)

Kevin McNeal was in his office on the eighth floor of Tower 1 when the plane struck. In the street afterward, he was covered with dust.

“My whole floor was destroyed,” he said. “I thought it was a bomb.”

On that same floor, Robert Liipiak was just opening his office door when the first plane struck, slamming him into his desk. Liipiak guided workers to the stairwell, but it was locked. For a few moments, they were trapped. Then police arrived to help them to the ground floor.

Robert Knowles was on the 54th floor when the first plane struck. As he was knocked to the ground, the windows of his office blew out.

“It snapped the desk out of the window like a piece of paper,” he said. “I was praying I wouldn’t get sucked out the window.”

Knowles said he managed to make it to the 30th floor, where progress in walking down the smoky stairwells slowed dramatically. Water from the sprinkler system was everywhere and the acrid smoke was so thick that breathing became difficult.

“It was really tough,” he said. “I was praying for people in wheelchairs.”

Another 9/11 lifetime actor was again wheeled out for the 2024 celebration - David Paventi

September 11, 2001, was supposed to be a regular business day for Paventi. He was attending a meeting at the World Trade Center.

"I think the entire experience really just kind of makes you realize how fragile life is and how lucky we are to have the people that are around you, not so much the stuff that's around you," said Paventi.

For that reason, Paventi left Bank of America to start a popular pizzeria in northwest Charlotte, letting him spend more time with his wife and 4-year-old son.


"It was kind of a miraculous experience," said Paventi. "It doesn't make a lot of sense."

Miraculous because when the attack happened, Paventi was in a conference room near the top of World Trade Center, tower one.

"The building literally kind of shoved forward like 15 or 20 feet, and then kind of returned back in the opposite direction like 15, 20 feet," said Paventi. "When we got into that lobby, it literally looked like something from Die Hard."

"The revolving doors were all mangled and snapped off," added Paventi. "We actually walked through a window frame to get out of the building."
