I knew it when I first read the paper. It's the logical end point.

The paper, further, is written in impenetrable language, using loads of obscure terminology, and opaque phrases. The entire paper was one big invite for people to not read it.

What it seeks to do - in intentionally complex, confusing terminology, and impenetrable jargon - in the name of environmentalism take every field of science (especially 'soft'), and integrate these under a hierarchical, 'holistic' umbrella, replace the existing land-use model (elimination of property rights), eliminate fossil fuel and nuclear power, switch from objective truth to 'contextual reality' (arbitrary rule) - all facilitated through means of Cybernetics and General Systems Theory (even Laszlo is thrown in):

'At the global scale, this integration can be realized only as part of an all-embracing environmental revolution. Such a revolution, as envisaged by Laszlo (1994), will guide the bifurcation of cultural evolution on its leap toward a higher organizational level of the emerging sustainable information society'.

The 'higher organisational model' means that power will be concentrated at the top, post-Marxist revolution.

From here, you can then work your way towards 'Urban Ecology' which appears a contemporary hot topic, or move in the direction of the Odum brothers, who regularly are referenced, and who also snap easily to General Systems Theory.

Rare that I would do this, but this very important, consequently I post this to correct the understanding of the Social Determinants of Health, a topic on which @ConceptualJames tweeted yesterday. Usually, his perspective is pin-point accurate, but the Social Determinants of Health is only a single type of determinant - others exist.

Let's talk about a really important Woke idea you may not have heard of yet, though it's not new in any way: the "social determinants of health." If you're guessing that this is a blank check for Woke Marxists to do Medical Lysenkoism and more, you're exactly right.

The "social determinants of health" is a social (critical) constructivist theory about how health happens, and guess what! The conditions in which health arises or fails are socially constructed! Aren't you surprised? Of course you're not. That's Woke everything, but this is big.

The idea behind the "social determinants of health" concept is that there are social, political, and economic factors like access to grocery stores, good food, etc., plus racism, transphobia, and whatever else, and I mean WHATEVER ELSE, that all have impacts on health.

You need to understand that in Woke Marxism, there is never personal responsibility (except to join the revolution). Your health isn't determined by YOU. Your health is something you have little or no say over because of the sociopolitical and economic situation you're in.

Every time you hear something like "racism is a public health threat," what you're hearing is built on the idea of the theory of "social determinants of health." Whatever they call systemic racism can be said to impact health outcomes, so "racism" "socially determines" health.

So, what are some social determinants of health? We already named some, but the point is that it can be ANYTHING Woke Marxists can tie to health outcomes in any way at all, including:

Racism, transphobia, not getting their way all the time, bad food in ghettos, crime, etc.

It hardly stops there, though. Anything that's social, political, or economic that causes health impacts, including mental health impacts, can be considered a "social determinant of health" based on any paper that a half-blind, retarded chimp could write with the right code.

Climate change, and beliefs about climate change, could therefore be a "social determinant of health." The climate, they'd argue, is downstream from human beings and impacts health, and facing (manufactured) existential terror is bad for mental health, so social determinant.

Having Trump be president, or any conservative or Republican in charge, could be a "social determinant of health" (all eyes on Macron and Europe in the coming weeks). It's very stressful to have severe TDS (etc., mutatis mutandis), so it's a "social determinant of health."

I could go on, but I think you get the idea. Imagine they were able to declare having a conservative in government, or even people who support such a person around you, as a negative health impact, at scale, and treat it like a public health emergency. That's the idea.

Under this theory, you could force cities to redesign food, supply, and distribution systems, reduce/change policing, adopt ridiculous Woke "antiracism" and "LGBTQ" initiatives, including butchering children plus psychosocial transition, or even emergencies about wrong leaders.

All of these things are happening, and if they were to get supercharged with the WHO's International Health Regulations (IHR), which was forced through in Geneva illegally a week ago, you could have a global tyrant demanding control to solve "health crises" like these.

Much of the Medical Lysenkoism we now have in medicine, which is still rapidly growing (not near peak at all yet) is based directly on this concept of "social determinants of health," which is standard Woke Marxist BS used to take control not just of healthcare but everything.

Let me just stress one more time that under this crackpot doctrine, literally ANYTHING that any Woke Marxist lunatic can contrive a just-so story about that connects to "health" outcomes in any way, including just stress, could be dealt with like a medical/public health issue.

Having a "high enough" minimum wage, elections going your way (iff Democrat), not having right-wing people in the area, not getting 120% of your way all the time, getting a UBI, video game characters never offending you, and on, and on, and on. Everything a "health" crisis.

The determinants are but one component of a much larger slate of inputs, also counting SDG indicators, biodiversity Aichi indicators, and human development indices and all this surveillance input data gathered will ultimately be channelled towards the ultimate objective of providing "Sustainable Human Well-Being", but not in the individualist understanding, but collective.


Consequently, if the indicators suggest that human impact on nature is oversized, that we need to reduce to 'protect us from ourselves', then indicators can be used to argue exactly that.

I noticed a similar setup during the 2020 Labour leadership contest...but as an aside, Corbyn had a five-year contract as Labour leader, which matches exactly Ed Miliband's five-year contract as Labour leader before him. And that all fitted swimmingly with the Fixed-term Parliaments Act passed by the Coalition Government in 2011, which I'm guessing was designed to protect actors' contracts......oh sorry, was it meant to have something to do with democracy?

Anyway, getting back to Starmer, I'd resigned from the party by then, but had an interesting conversation with a young Labour member and she was a former Corbynite parroting the message about Starmer being the only sensible choice now......and guess who won the leader and deputy leader contests based on the image below?
