Tesla Optimus CGI

While the head seems real, the hands are clearly CGI.

I think that they used motion capture for this one but I'm not sure:

I work on the principle, if it looks human sized and moves like a human, it's because it is, in the first instance, a human. There is no other practical reason for creating human shaped robots...it's a total waste of battery energy design, something that isn't naturally stable at rest...when it runs out of battery, it will just fall over. The question to always ask is where is it's centre a gravity? That tells us if it lives in a universe where gravity has any bearing, Because back in the real world, battery life for these type of things is piss-poor. Spot has a two hour run time according to the manufacture's instructions, and it warns the user it will power down into a stable position when it gets low on battery.

How many years has Boston Dynamics been plugging its Atlas? Apparently it can do back flips, but you still can't buy one. I see they've taken it off their front page and listings. Maybe it's getting embarrassing for them. A company that apparently sells stuff, and they have this superman robot that can run across snowy terrain no problem, yet no one can buy one.

Equally, perhaps they have taken the feedback from places like this that call them out as merchants of bullshit.

I have to admit that a lot of things look like CGI to me recently, it's like something in my brain switched off, especially low resolution videos, people just look like video game characters to me.
