This one always bugged me, obviously, The Smiths are known as a "gay" band and they are referenced a lot in pop culture.
The jaw, the brow-ridge, the ears and the neck are masculine but I find that Morrissey's ways are feminine. The guitarist, Johnny Marr is also suspicious in that picture and in the first video.
In that amateur video, we can see him at an older age, again it's a mix between an old man and an old woman.
What appeals to the gay could also appeal to the gender inverted people, what is a "charming man" a gay man or a FTM?
Gay, FTM or feminine man, I'll let you decide.

It's funny, when I was young I didn't think much of Morrissey. Now, I think he's a class act.
I would say these picture give us an accurate idea of his size. So we are not looking at any optical illusions on size.
