This is the first ever BTC block:
It references 'The Times' newspaper from 05-Sept-2009:
I think it bears a bit more analysis. Unfortunately I have been unable to find a really good hi-res picture.
My own view, is that there are an awful lot of 5s and 9s in there, eg:
5th Sept 2009
temp min -5 max 5, 5th of Sept (9)
eat out for £5
99p beer, 900 restaurants
Also, why reference a British paper? The times? Maybe it genuinely is as is commonly interpreted - that Satoshi Nakamoto really did have the banks in his sights. But, it also seems possible that there are alternative angles to consider.
