7/7 Revisited

Unread post by rachel »

I came across this series from ten years ago which I remember watching some years back and fought it quite interesting. My views have matured regarding David Shayler and Nick Kollerstrom. Shayler came out by first wearing a dress and then claiming to be Christ, or maybe it's the other way around. Interestingly David Icke claimed to be Christ when he first went all purple and turquoise, that's quietly brushed under the carpet these days.

I'm in two minds about Nick, he could be intelligence or maybe he always goes from tugging at the heart strings so he can write a readable book. Either way, even if you ditch his conclusions, he's usually good for getting a precise take on the official narrative, so in that vain...

UK terror attack exercise planned
3 March, 2003
http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/2814087.stm
London's ability to respond to a "catastrophic" terror attack will be tested within the next few weeks, David Blunkett has said.
The announcement follows an exercise in Harrogate on Monday, where emergency service leaders were shown how a decontamination unit would deal with the aftermath of a dirty bomb attack.

The government also announced the creation of a new website - www.homeoffice.gov.uk/terrorism - which it said would give advice to concerned members of the public.

Earlier, a senior government adviser told the BBC of his fears that Whitehall "lethargy" towards the possibility of a smallpox bio terror attack left the UK at risk.

And increased fears of a terrorist attack at Devonport Naval Base in Plymouth have led to Ministry of Defence police there being issued machine guns....

BBC terror film panics viewers
17 May 2004
https://www.theguardian.com/media/2004/ ... sting.bbc1
The BBC was today deluged with complaints after it televised a mock-up of a terrorist attack on London last night.

More than 140 people rang the BBC to complain about Panorama's London Under Attack, which showed the results of a fictitious chemical tanker explosion in the city.

The dramatised documentary, which showed how unprepared emergency services are for a major terrorist attack in the capital, was watched by nearly 2 million people.

The programme, which the government had denounced as "irresponsible", sparked widespread consternation among some viewers in a latter day re-run of Orson Welles' infamous War of the Worlds radio broadcast which terrified listeners of America in 1938.

"Presumably you did not intend to set the whole country into a state of panic, but that is what you did. My son phoned me from London, absolutely terrified. His friend had received a phone call from her mother who thought London was under attack, so she panicked and it snowballed," said one viewer by email.

Others described the documentary as "totally irresponsible" and criticised the "seeming stupidity" of the BBC for showing it. One viewer went so far as to accuse the BBC of unwittingly aiding a terrorist attack.

"What are Panorama trying to do? Run a terrorist training school explaining how best to attack London? I know from just the introduction to this programme that a simple and effective way to bring London to a halt and to kill at least 300 people would be to target three underground trains. Blow front and back to stop the emergency services getting to the injured. If Panorama want to highlight shortcomings in our national preparation for a terrorist attack to the government, then there are better ways than this."

BBC Panorama: London Under Attack (the show that predicted 7/7)
Broadcast on May 16th 2004, this show features a fiction terrorist attack very similar to the real attack of 7/7 a year later. The show's panel of experts included Peter Power, the former anti-terrorism police officer who was running a training exercise on the day of 7/7.
The panel
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/p ... 684775.stm
To add to the realism of the programme. Panorama enlisted the help of eight experts to sit in a "war cabinet" to reveal the extent of emergency plans and resources. The team includes people with first hand knowledge of intelligence, emergency planning, police, fire, government and media management.

Peter Power talking about the terror rehearsal going on the day of the terror attack.

Live ITV News interview with Peter Power, the Managing Director of Crisis Management firm Visor Consultants who was 'actually running an exercise... based on simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations that happened'.
Recorded at 8:20pm on the evening of the London Bombings
A statement from ICM on Peter Power's site survive.com, dated 11/07/2005. Link found here, which mentions that ICM were responsible for building the computer database for West Yorkshire police.

  • ICM STATEMENT: RESPONSE TO THE LONDON BOMB ATTACKS

As a result of the incidents in London on 7th July, ICM immediately announced ‘Major Incident’ status across our 3 London Centres. This included the formation of a Major Incident management team with individuals with pre-defined roles and responsibilities covering co-ordination, on-site management and customer communication.

During the course of the day ICM subsequently managed 9 client standby’s affecting users of our Wapping, Sevenoaks and Loudwater business continuity centres. Users were spread across London including areas not directly affected by the incidents- such as Canary Wharf, which suffered a security ‘lock down’. All users could be accommodated in their primary site and in their own secure suites.

Furthermore all centres remained fully operational, were appropriately manned to a high state of readiness and continued to have unencumbered local access. Additional support staff from our Bristol, Newmarket and Midlands based Centres were also on standby if required.

Throughout the course of the morning of 8th July, the 9 client Standby’s gradually reduced as clients stood us down and thankfully started the process of trying to normalise their business. Whilst a number of clients’ technical staff attended site to ready dedicated systems and access battle boxes, no users invoked into the centres.

We continued to manage 4 Standby scenarios throughout Friday and the weekend maintaining our Major Incident Response levels. When no further incidents or standby’s/Invocations were received by Friday evening, we stood down the Major Incident team WEF and returned to our standard level of readiness and operational support. Normal testing regime’s recommenced on Monday 11th July.

I would like to take this opportunity to share my admiration for the emergency services and Corporation of London for the fantastic response and management of the incidents. Their preparation, rehearsals and professionalism undoubtedly saved lives and the calmness that existed amongst those working in London no doubt emanated from the manner in which the incident was handled and communicated.

The Corporation in particular have been a major exponent of Business Continuity, Risk and Crisis Management and yesterday showed, in the full glare of the world, the importance of these disciplines and the benefit of using rehearsals to get them right.

Of course there will be many lessons learned, in every respect, from this experience. If we are to keep ahead of the terrorists and ensure that each event has a reducing impact in human and economic terms, then it is important that these lessons are heeded.

Our thoughts are with all those affected by these shocking acts.

Mike Osborne, ICM Recovery Services Operations Director

Canary Wharf shooting on 7/7?
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/julysev ... -t374.html
I originally posted this on MTCP forum; it was the 25th July 2005 and when i was going bonkers researching and reading 24hrs a day.
  • When news of the bombings came through, it stunned the security services, then propelled them into action. Scotland Yard’s firearms unit, S019, was put on alert to deal with the threat of more suicide attacks.

“When we were called to parade, we were all told that we should be prepared to expect a Kratos call,” said one S019 officer who was on duty that afternoon.

Under secret guidelines codenamed Operation Kratos, armed officers were instructed that they should shoot to kill suspected suicide bombers. “The most effective way of dealing with someone with explosives is to shoot them in the head,” said the officer.

S019 commanders also sent armed teams onto the streets of London in four Jankel armoured vehicles, bought by Scotland Yard last year for this eventuality. The vehicles are designed to protect their passengers from the impact of a suicide bomb blast.

Inside each vehicle were marksmen and women from the elite 72-man cadre of Specialist Firearms Officers (SFOs). The SFOs are divided into six teams of 12 which have been given different colour-coded names.

They are armed with Glock pistols, Heckler & Koch MP5 semi-automatic machineguns and G3 short-barreled rifles, which are small enough to be carried discreetly in a shoulder holsters. The rifles, equipped with “red dot” sights, use “frangible” ammunition that releases all its energy in the target’s body, instead of passing through it and endangering nearby civilians.

At the same time as hunting for other suspected bombers, a huge investigation began into the perpetrators of the attacks. It came to be called Operation Theseus — after the legendary Greek king who killed the Minotaur — and had its first big break at 10pm that day.

operation kratos 2002 pdf

and additionally we know that SO19 are regulary on the streets to assist the police in arresting and confiscating illegal gun owners driving round the london streets.

The new zealander says that he saw 2 people shot in canary wharf at 10.30. another man says that there were loads of cops everywhere-- understandable in canary wharf after the bombs went off.
yet the logic would be;

1) more people should of seen this
2) why would someone make this up especially in a busy area like canary wharf -- why not choose a quiet location with few witness' to account for, if you are gonna lie?

The HSBC did in fact advise people to stay inside the building
  • It was a similar story at Canary Wharf in London's Docklands, which is widely seen as a potential target for terrorist attack. Occupants reported a calm response to the perceived threat. HSBC, which has its headquarters there in a 44-storey building with 8,000 employees, said its business was operating normally, although staff had been advised to stay in the building

https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... ckonlondon

2) SO19 and SO13 should be asked about their positions at 10.30
3) SO19 did receive a kratos call in the afternoon, but what prompted that call?
4) why does the media insinuate that op. kratos is a new thing when it is mentioned in 2002 for 2003/2004 police year for Special Branch.
5) Jankel vehicles rolling around london??? did anyone see them? They would be pretty difficult to conceal.
6) If so19 did in fact use Jankel vehicles they wouldnt have been seen as their position of fire is inside the vehicle for protection from suicide bombers.

additionally so13 were given the powers of Operation Kratos 1st april 2005 and it is stated there are 4 phases of Op kRatos

The shoot-to-kill policy was clearly in the public eye after Menezes murder and has been touted as a post-7/7 operation which is blantantly attempting to cover up the fact that so13 and so19 were authorised to kill in certain circumstance before 7th july morning.

Also referring back to "operation Theseus" which not only included a huge investigation into the perpetrators of the attacks but also
  • Trades Recruitment Ltd, Market Street, Adlington, provided a driver who transported and set up an emergency mortuary as part of operation Theseus, which co-ordinated the aftermath of the bombings on July 7

Operation Theseus was mentioned and questioned here - https://web.archive.org/web/20130202172 ... wtopic=123 - by ant.

Visor and Operation Theseus, is there a link?
We have received the following from one of our sources:
  • Here is your canary wharf query partly corroborated (see attachment) by a
company called ICM Computer Group. They specialise in Business Continuity,
and are members of the Business Continuity Institute ‹ just like Visor
    Consultants.

Just out of interest, ICM are based in Leeds and built a computer database
for West Yorkshire Police some years ago.

I was originally tipped off by the BC website survive.com. Look through
their press releases to see the stuff about a "security lockdown" at Canary
    Wharf.

ICM have self-contained disaster relief centres all over the UK.

    Hope you can use this.

  • Our marketing team have forwarded your email – I was more than happy to discuss this with you at the time. My comments were in reference to a number of sources; some I can’t comment on, however;

    *      The Wharf is acknowledged as one of 5 primary targets, following the incidents in ‘London’ the Wharf went on high alert checking every vehicle in and out of the area.

    *      The ‘ring of steel’ around London includes a number of cordon points, this sees traffic stopped at the Tower Hill entry point – this in turn backs-up to the Limehouse link and entry to Canary Wharf.

I'm not really familiar with this event but just a glance at the wiki page showed me that two of the train numbers were 216 and 311. (21/6 solstice or 6*6*6; 33). The explosion of the bus was at 9:47 am. Then there is the date itself 77...

We don't learn much by noticing their number games except that the news reports didn't not portray the truth.

'One week anniversary' bombings appeal
Police Appeal for assistance

One week on from the four explosions in central London that killed more than 50 people and injured hundreds, the Metropolitan Police Service is renewing its appeals for witnesses and information.

At approximately 08:50 on Thursday July 7, there were three explosions on underground trains. Two were on Circle Line trains close to Aldgate and Edgware Road stations, and the other on a Piccadilly Line train near King's Cross.

At 09:47 in Tavistock Square, WC1, there was a fourth explosion on a number 30 bus to Hackney Wick.

Anyone with information about the bombings or the people involved, which could be useful to the investigation, is urged to call the confidential Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321. Alternatively, pictures, footage and information can be submitted online at www.police.uk .

Recap

On Thursday July 7, four devices exploded in London.

Explosions on three Underground trains occurred within seconds of each other at approximately 0850.

The explosions were on:

Circle Line train travelling from Liverpool Street to Aldgate station. The device was in the third carriage of a train approx. 100 yards into the tunnel.

Westbound Circle Line train coming into Edgware Road station, approx. 100 yards into the tunnel. The explosion blew a hole through a wall onto another train on an adjoining platform. The device was in the second carriage, in the standing area near the first set of double doors.

Piccadilly Line train travelling from Kings Cross to Russell Square, approx 600 metres into the tunnel. The device was in the first carriage, in the standing area near the first set of double doors.

A number 30 bus travelling towards Hackney Wick. The explosion occurred at 09:47 in Tavistock Square, WC1.

The number of fatalities currently stands at 52. These are:

7 from the Liverpool Street/Aldgate incident

7 from the Edgware Road incident

25 from the Kings Cross/Russell Square incident

13 from the bus

Forensics officers are still examining all four scenes.

Around 700 people were injured, with 350 requiring hospital treatment. 53 people are still in hospital, eight of which are critical. 76 Family Liaison Officers have been deployed.

The following is a short summary of the progression of the body recovery and identification operation and the criminal investigation:

July 7
Casualty Bureau opened on the afternoon of Thursday July 7. Members of the public who were concerned that friends or relatives may have been affected by the explosions were asked to call us on 0870 1566 344. Calls reached their peak between 1500 and 1600, when we took more than 42,000 calls.

By Thursday night most of the roads closed by cordons around the four sites had been opened, with cordons remaining in place in Woburn Place, Tavistock Place, Burton Street, Flaxman Terrace, Edgware Road and Chapel Street.

Following the attacks, extra policing patrols were put in place across the capital, with officers from the MPS, City of London Police and British Transport Police providing visible reassurance, advice and support.

July 8
By 06.00 on Friday July 8, Casualty Bureau had taken 103,087 calls. More than 200 staff from 23 police services worked round the clock answering calls, using new technology that enabled forces other than the Met to answer calls.

Initial forensic investigation suggested each device contained less than 10 pounds of explosive and pointed to the devices on the Underground having been left on the floor.

An Identification Commission was established, chaired by the Coroner and consisting of the Senior Police Identification Manager, a Pathologist, a Orthodontist, a Home Office representative and anyone else who the coroner wishes to sit on it.

July 9
On Saturday July 9, a Family Assistance Centre was opened in Victoria staffed by Family Liaison Officers and trained staff from support agencies including the Red Cross, Salvation Army and Victim Support. The centre was set up to provide a central point of information for people searching for loved ones and to offer support and advice.

Evidence had established that the three explosions on the Underground happened within seconds of each other. The roof of the bus in Tavistock Square was taken away for forensic examination and fingertip search of the area begun.

As part of the UK's continuing close liaison with agencies across the world, a briefing was held for international members of the Police Working Group on Terrorism, together with London-based police liaison officers with whom the MPS has regular, established contact. Around 30 countries were represented.

July 10
An appeal is launched for any photos and video footage of the incidents. By Monday more than 250 emails had been received.

July 11
A temporary mortuary was opened at the Honourable Artillery Company, City Road, EC1. The first formal identification was confirmed and an inquest opened.

By 05.00 Casualty Bureau had received 115,663 calls.

By the afternoon, investigators had taken more than 200 witness statements, 1134 actions were raised, 2160 calls to the Anti-Terrorist Hotline had been received and 2,500 CCTV tapes collected.

A Field For Flowers was opened in Victoria Embankment Gardens at 1200, wherewell-wishers are welcome to leave floral tributes and sign a book of condolence.

More than 200 community representatives from across London met for a community reassurance event, 'Communities Together', hosted by the MPA, MPA and GLA.

July 12
Representatives of the Sikh community met senior MPS officers to address concerns raised at yesterday's 'Communities Together' event.

The Family Assistance Centre moved from Victoria to the Royal Horticultural Hall in Vincent Square, SW1P.

MPS officers, supported by officers from West Yorkshire Police, executed search warrants issued under the Terrorism Act 2000 at six addresses in West Yorkshire. A controlled explosion was carried out at one address to ensure safe entry. One man was arrested under the Terrorism Act and remains in custody at a central London police station.

MPS officers, assisted by officers from Bedfordshire Police, examined a vehicle in the car park of Luton railway station. Nine controlled explosions were carried out on material found in the car, following which the car was deemed to no longer present a danger to the public. It was then removed for further examination by the MPS.

By Tuesday, the investigation had led the MPS to have concerns about the movements and activities of four men, three of whom came from the West Yorkshire area. We are trying to establish their movements in the run up to last week's attacks, and specifically to establish if they all died in the explosions. Three of the search warrants were executed at home addresses of these three men.

CCTV footage showed the four men, each carrying a rucksack, at King's Cross station shortly before 08.30 on the morning of July 7. One of the men who set out from West Yorkshire was reported missing by his family to the Casualty Bureau shortly after 22.00 on July 7. We have established that he was joined on his journey to London by three other men.

Personal documents bearing the names of three of those four men have been found, close to the seats of three of the explosions:

Property belonging to the man reported missing was found on the Route 30 bus in Tavistock Square.

Property in the name of a second man was found at the scene of the Aldgate bomb. Property in the name of a third man was found at the scene of both the Aldgate and the Edgware Road bombs.

We have very strong forensic and other evidence that one of the men died in the explosion at Aldgate. This is subject to formal confirmation by the Coroner.

July 13
22 people have had their identity confirmed by the Identity Commission and we have been able to release details of 14 of these according to the wishes of families.
Bulletin 0000000219 14 July 2005

I think the request for witnesses are standard, most people who were not directly involved at the scene would believe the events to be true and act accordingly. The point of the drill was to test the services after all in the first instance. It's curious about Canary Wharf shooting though. It disappeared into the ether soon after the even, not to be talked about by the media ever again.

From an FOI, press releases by MET.
Sir Ian Blair in a report to the MPA 2005/06 Annual Report claimed that the MPS issued approx 25 press statements in regard to the explosions on the transport system in London on 7th July 2005.

Could I please have copies of all the press statements and public statements issued by the MPS in regard to these incidents.
There are the statements issued on the 7th.

Re: 7/7 Revisited

The below extract from a 2005 security conference is telling. I've long thought they make up cases to test the judicial system so they can create new case law. Like all of a sudden in 2020 people took to the streets under the banner of Black Lives Matter to throw statues (else street furniture) in rivers. And they bothered to take it to court, and they wanted us all the be against the BLM activists so laws would be passed to protect statues (street furniture) put up by people with the most money from people who decided they didn't want it in their community, and they were well pissed off when they lost and that a community can come together and choose to turf out street furniture it objects to.

And guess what came straight on the back of that failure to create new law by the government? Only ULEZs, and LTNs, and street furniture such as giant plant pots to block roads, and cameras. Unfortunately Common Law can only operate in countries where its government system is not utterly corrupt. Else it spends all its time trying to sure up what it wants to impose by creating fake events so it can argue in court new case law.

And we see this in the way for decades people in government have been trying to get euthanasia passed into law through the back door via the likes of Debbie Purdy, Jeffrey Spector, Diane Pretty, Tony Nicklinson and Noel Conway; who were all so incensed that doctors are not allowed to kill them in the UK that they apparently could only think to go to court and try to have that safeguard removed for everyone.

Not so much a 'statement' but information from DAC Clarke given at a security conference in Germany in early April:
  • Bomb investigator says UK threat still high

    By Mark Trevelyan, Security Correspondent
Tue Apr 4, 3:53 PM ET

BERLIN (Reuters) - Investigations into last July's London suicide bombings are proceeding with no let-up but the terrorist threat to Britain has not declined, the country's top anti-terrorism investigator said on Tuesday.

"Since July, the pace of investigation, the scale of the threat has not diminished in any way whatsoever," Peter Clarke, the national coordinator of terrorism investigations, told a security conference in Germany.

He added: "There are no terrorist-free zones in the United Kingdom. The footprint of international terrorism is in every part of the country."

Clarke declined to give a progress update on the London bomb probe, which he said involved more than 35,000 documents, 10,000 witness statements, 38,000 police exhibits and 90,000 pieces of computer evidence.

Asked about the extent of foreign backing and support for the four young Muslim men who blew themselves up on the London transport network on July 7, 2005, killing 52 people, Clarke told Reuters: "That's something we're still looking at."

Three of the attackers who carried out Western Europe's first suicide bombing were British-born men of Pakistani origin, and the fourth was born in Jamaica.

Several of the plotters had traveled to Pakistan before the bombings, but police have not said publicly if they believe they received training, support or instructions from there.

Clarke said he had just returned from a trip to Pakistan but this was to discuss broader cooperation issues, not specifically the July 7 investigation.

    INTELLIGENCE

Commenting on the wider threat from Islamist radicals, he told the conference he was concerned about the difficulty of getting sources inside the Muslim community to come forward with intelligence.

"Most of the cases that we have in the United Kingdom are as a result of intelligence that has come from overseas, or from technical means. There is not the wealth of intelligence that I would like coming from within the communities," Clarke said.

"We must do more to build our links into the Muslim communities, so that those who wish to reject extremism and expel the extremists and give information about them can have the confidence to do so."

Clarke said several "hugely important" terrorism trials in Britain this year would present a test for the courts and judicial system.

"These are cases, the like of which have never come before the British courts before. The international dimension, the sources of evidence, the types of evidence ... will not have been tested before in our courts," he said.

"It will be a real test to see whether our system, and the rules of evidence, are capable of dealing with these issues."

In one of the cases, described by police as Britain's biggest terrorism trial since the September 11 attacks on the United States in 2001, seven Britons went on trial last month charged with plotting to carry out bomb attacks.

Six of them were arrested in 2004 during raids in which police found 600 kg (1,320 lb) of ammonium nitrate, which can be used to make bombs.

I don't know what the Tavistock connection would be. The Tavistock Institute is not situated at Tavistock Square.

The tavistock clinic was founded in the square, a pioneering psychiatric clinic whose patients included shell-shock victims of the First World War.
