Washing long hair in the "zero gravity" of the "ISS"

Unread post by SaiGirl »

A thread in reddit provoked this post.

There are so many of these stupid videos produced by NASA, that purport to show women shampooing in the “ISS”.

The original “Apollo” actors had closely shaved heads or wore helmets.

But we’re supposed to believe that women with shoulder length hair will just fluff it out to “float" freely in a “zero gravity” environment.
Where even a single loose hair could get into the complex, sensitive equipment and damage it, thus risking the lives of everyone on the “ISS”?

What estimate does NASA have of the intelligence or common sense of their target audience?
Less than “zero gravity”, I would say.
