Cruise ships delivering the Covid-19 goods

Unread post by xileffilex »

The transition from Hubei to the world in the media was made through cruise ships.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_ ... uise_ships

Cruise ships are a nice "sealed-off" environment, the type love by hoax organisers. Also, they usually have a population of older, retired people.
Three people a week die on cruises worldwide. 18000 cases of gastrointestinal illness per year...
Cruise ships have been used in several hoaxes, including Costa Concordia and the New Zealand volcanic eruption.

First case, as per Wikipedia
World Dream carried 108 people from Hubei province on a cruise
Three people who were on the ship from Jan. 19 to Jan. 24 have tested positive for coronavirus, according to a letter to guests from Dream Cruises, which operates the ship. As a result, Taiwan’s government blocked the ship’s port of call in Kaohsiung and forced its return to Hong Kong on Wednesday. There are 1,871 passengers and 1,820 crew members onboard.

Edith Poon, spokesperson for Genting Hong Kong Limited, the holding company that owns Dream Cruises, confirmed that 30 crew members self-declared symptoms of the virus.
https://eu.usatoday.com/story/travel/ne ... 665323002/
Neatly, the ship sailed again, resulting in 3700 passengers and crew being quarantined...
There have been more than 24,600 cases diagnosed worldwide, with all but 216 coming from mainland China and Hong Kong and the rest spread across more than 20 countries. Nearly 500 have died and about 1,000 have recovered.
Diamond Princess quarantined for 14 days after 10 positive tests
[Feb 6 2020]

How many Covid-19 fatalities from all those passengers and crew on the World Dream? Zero.

Only 5 weeks to go to full global pandemic!!!

The Diamond Princess is the key ship, with an English traveller David Abel and his wife making a daily vlog for the national media. The ship had docked at Yokohame, Japan on February 3 and was quarantined with an alleged 10 positive cases onboard. With a little quarantine, this eventually ballooned out to 712 cases and 14 deaths from a similar sized ship, total on board about 3700, most of whom were allegedly tested.
This ship receives little attention at Wiki, surprisingly.

Two other ships of the line also yielded victims for the Corona pandemic -
The Grand Princess which was nowhere near China, but on a cruise in Mexico whem one passenger DIED [see above....] from the previous cruises before the one on March 4. [this is ONE WEEK before a global pandemic was declared]
from Wiki:
As a result of increasing reports of former passengers of Grand Princess testing positive, Princess Cruises, the owner and operator of Grand Princess, working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the government of California, and public health officials in San Francisco, terminated a port call in Ensenada, Mexico
and had to return to SF.
The first known person in California to die of the virus at the time,[177] as well as the first cases in Alberta,[194] Hawaii,[195] and Utah,[196] were all former passengers of Grand Princess.
122 CASES, allegedly, SEVEN DEAD.
Grand Princess updates here, starting with the aborted cruise to Hawaii which only got as far as Mexico...

Guests Health Advisory – Coronavirus
March 4, 2020
Dear Princess Guest:

I wish to advise you that today we have been notified by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that they are investigating a small cluster of COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases in Northern California connected to our previous Grand Princess voyage that sailed roundtrip San Francisco from February 11 to February 21. We are working closely with our CDC partners and are following their recommendations.

And the last of the trio of Princess line cruises ships, the Ruby Princess nicely hovering off Australia to complete a circle round the Pacific! She docked in Sydney on March 19
On 20 March, it was announced that three passengers and a crew member of Ruby Princess had tested positive for the virus

The death toll reached 21 on 18 April 2020, including two deaths in the United States
all after spreading out after disembarking.

The smaller Coral Princess brought the disease to the notice of Florida, having been cruising <a href="https://www.princess.com/news/notices_a ... tml">round South America as the "pandemic was declared</a>, and was at Buenos Aires on March 19. Development of the story:
April 2 passengers confined to rooms when the company noticed a higher than normal number of flu-like cases on board".
April 4 docked Miami with 2 alleged deaths
April 6 passengers more than two thirds of the passengers disembark and scatter. Two more deaths, allegedly, total 12 alleged cases.
April 10 all but 13 passengers disembark and scatter, Ship leaves with [878] crew for "unknown destination" for a 14-day quarantine cruise, which would have ended on April 24. [see below]

Pacific/Regal/Royal Princess cruises seemed to have little impact on the "pandemic" with no "victims", Sun Princess one case.

All these confined cruise ship passengers and huge crews ought to be dropping like flies now.... but I'm sure they're not.

Update on the Coral Princess....looks like another cruise!
The vessel departed from PORT EVERGLADES, US on 2020-04-29 16:21 LT (UTC -4) and is currently sailing at 14.8 knots with Southwest direction heading to ARUBA, AW with reported Estimated Time of Arrival at 2020-05-13 12:00 LT (UTC -4) local time (in 2 days, 22 hours )

The Grand Princess charade has a lot of hoax markers. In reality, the same crew dealt with an extra boat load of passengers after 7 passengers from the earlier cruise started dropping dead. They should all be dropping like flies, crew and 2 lots of 2000 plus passengers!

starting with
February 1, 2020
Princess Cruises confirms that a guest from Hong Kong who traveled for five days on Diamond Princess from Yokohama (Tokyo) on January 20, and disembarked in Hong Kong on January 25, tested positive for coronavirus on February 1, six days after leaving the ship. He was not seen in the ship medical center for any reported illnesses during the voyage. The guest is currently admitted to a local hospital and reported to be in a stable condition.

The safety, security and well-being of all guests and crew are our absolute priority. Our chief medical officer is working with the relevant health authorities to determine if any further action is required. We will provide a further update once we have more information.

Diamond Princess is on a 14-day round trip itinerary, which departed from Yokohama (Tokyo) on January 20 and is scheduled to return on February 4. There are 2,666 guests and 1,045 crew onboard.

This is the key script.

How this turned into a pandemic is beyond thinking. Recall also that the green light was given in Italy on January 31 when "two tourists from Wuhan in ROME [not Northern Italy] tested "positive" for Covid, more than three weeks before the Northern Italian "outbreak" although the virus made a poor job of spreading to all regions of the country....

Let's remind ourselves of the Abels, key messengers from the Diamond Princess....

David Abel and his wife Sally first appeared in the news - ITV UK - on 4 February
https://www.itv.com/news/2020-02-04/bri ... host-town/
A British cruise ship passenger quarantined onboard a ship in Japan amid Coronavirus fears has said the vessel resembles a "ghost town", as the majority of its 3,000 passengers remain confined to their rooms.

The Diamond Princess has been left in limbo in Yokohama Bay, awaiting tests results for those on board before authorities will allow passengers and crew to leave.
Japanese media TBS News is reporting 10 passengers on board The Diamond Princess have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Chinese authorities 'overwhelmed' and people 'piling into hospitals', says Brit trapped in Wuhan
Japan ordered the ship, owned and operated by Princess Cruises, into quarantine after an 80-year-old passenger who left the ship in Hong Kong on January 25 tested positive for Coronavirus.
Plenty of media calls, facebook posts, tweets and vlogs folllowed

ITV again, Feb 23
https://www.itv.com/news/2020-02-23/fou ... tal-to-13/
Four more people in the UK have been diagnosed with coronavirus, bringing the total to 13.

The four - confirmed to be British nationals - have been transferred to specialist NHS infection centres.

The new cases are among the 32 evacuees - reportedly made up of 30 Britons and two Irish nationals – from the Diamond Princess - a cruise ship on board which more than 600 developed the particular strain of the respiratory disease known as Covid-19.

Meanwhile Italy is struggling to contain the spread of coronavirus, with at least 152 confirmed cases and three deaths making it the most infected country outside of Asia

The new UK cases were confirmed by the Chief Medical Officer for England.

Professor Chris Whitty
said: "Four further patients in England have tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases in the UK to 13.

"The virus was passed on in the Diamond Princess cruise ship and the patients are being transferred from Arrowe Park to specialist NHS infection centres."...

...After landing back in the UK the Brits were taken to Arrowe Park hospital on the Wirral where they will remain in isolation for two weeks in a bid to stop the further spread of the illness.
the last two paragraphs don't seem to agree...

But not after some "confusion" on Feb 19 [BBC]
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51541352
Mr and Mrs Abel's son Steve told BBC Breakfast that his father had emailed him on Tuesday morning to tell him they had both tested positive.

However, on Tuesday evening, a Facebook post from Mr Abel's account explained the confusion over the positive test, saying the Japanese quarantine officials did not speak any English. suuuuuuuure!!1

He added: "The consulate in Tokyo are being very good with me. I am being listened to and Sally & I feel really well."

Earlier, Steve said he could hear his father vomiting in the bathroom while on the phone to his mother earlier but he believed it was due to "shock" rather than a symptom of the disease.
lol!
Too many hoax markers here for my liking.

Back to Feb 23
Mr Abel has been diagnosed with acute pneumonia, while Mrs Abel has mild pneumonia.

Relatives said the couple are both "having a really tough time" and feel "very much in the dark" in terms of treatment, adding that they are awaiting further tests.
Speaking in a liveblog on Sunday, their daughter-in-law Roberta Abel said: "We want to get them discharged from the hospital and back to the UK as negative.
The Abels were quoted in USA Today, Feb 4 to carry the story from the closed environment around the world...

and, to prove it all, has posted their Covid tests....

Sally and I were tested today for Corona Virus and especially to see whether we had the antibodies in our blood.
For those who do not know, Sally & I contracted the virus on the ship and takento hospital and were discharged as virus free after 3 weeks.
I hoped to offer residents of the UK these kits, but too many people thought it was disgraceful for me to do this. They all have the CE mark. Sorry to disappoint so many, but I understand they will be made available for sale through other companies. We were very impressed with the results.
IgM single line at C = negative when tested
IgG two lines at C & T = antibodies present in the blood
Confirms everything we were informed by the hospital.

Wendy Marshall Steele [from Wolverhampton]
David and Sally are the most genuine, lovely couple anyone could wish to meet. My husband and I met them on the Diamond Princess. Whilst they were going through their own health problems they were a constant support to Alan and I, especially when Alan was taken off the ship. They would contact me daily to see how I was coping. I can't Express enough how invaluable that was. We are still in touch . A remarkable couple.

It's easy to forget what was happening at the start of the spread of this fake pandemic. Several people were already onto the Abels and the Princess line in this scam.
Indeed, Peekay in his recent chat with Mark Devlin, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsNBlDc-lzc from 1.21.50. recognised the importance of this line of communicating the "virus" and the story to the world</a>
Perhaps this is why on Feb 20, 2020, the boss of the company was so excited to see the Diamond Princess dock in Yokohama

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 48576.html
The president of Princess Cruises welcomed a coronavirus-quarantined ship by blowing kisses and making heart signs, captured on a video set to upbeat music and posted on social media the same day as reports of the deaths of two passengers had surfaced.

In a video posted to the company's social media on Wednesday, Jan Swartz is seen wearing a surgical mask and forming heart hands over her head as the cruise ship finally begins to disembark after its passengers were forced to remain at a port in Yokohama, Japan for several weeks following a shipwide outbreak of the flu-like respiratory virus.

The message says: "In a continued effort to support our #DiamondPrincess guests and crew, our President Jan Swartz personally welcomed those disembarking in Yokohama today. The entire Princess family is with each and every one of you during this time."
Perhaps the background music should have been a funeral march?

And on March 9 the Caribbean Princess was brought into the story after it was learnt that crew members had conveniently transferred from the sister liner in San Francisco, the Grand Princess.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 88941.html

And where did the first UK citizen die from "Coronavirus"? On the Diamond Princess
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51677846
Feb 28 [11 days until global pandemic declared!]
the man is not named, but SOMEHOW a UK citizen has "tested positive"
The total number of coronavirus cases in the UK now stands at 20
Reeeepeeeeet - a global pandemic is 11 days away!

I'd forgotten that Enchanted Life Path saw through the hoax vehicles of the cruise ships and the Abels, uploading the video on Feb 19 and subsequently after, one assumes, some debate on the Abels' facebook "updates"
[which the Fakeologist unfortunately buried on Savechat]

Re: Cruise ships delivering the Covid-19 goods

The Diamond Princess delivered the global fear.
The National Post in Canada reported [March 5] on the 251 Canadian citizens conviently aboard the Diamond Princess. But who does the story quote, other than the UK super-spreader of Covid** news and information aboard-ship, but David Abel
https://nationalpost.com/news/world/thi ... ments-area

Were none of these alleged Canadian passengers not contacting their nation's media with their story? Seems not.

It becomes clear from the article, when Prof Steven Taylor [discovered by Mark Tokarski to have written a 2019 book about pandemics] gets involved that the cruise ship is a microcosm of the global lockdown which was to ensue 5-6 weeks later, a test laboratory.
Passengers have created a private Facebook page to create a virtual community on the ship. In addition to providing timely updates, the cruise ship should increase, as far as reasonably possible, the degree of control people can exert over their food or space, Taylor said. “If there is a way they could let them out for exercise periods, for example, that would be immensely beneficial for helping people manage their stress levels.”

“I think it’s important for people to remind themselves that yes, this is stressful, but it is time limited. They will get out eventually,” Taylor said. “If you think about it, if you can endure two weeks of solitary confinement on a cruise ship, you could deal with any sorts of delays, anywhere, on any travel.
[Abel]worries about other passengers, once boredom in their “floating prison” sets in, especially those staying in cabins with no windows or access to natural light.

Many people will behave stoically, but others appear to be distressed already, said Steven Taylor, a professor and clinical psychologist in the department of psychiatry at the University of British Columbia. “And I expect that’s only going to get worse over time. We’ll probably see an increase in people who are frustrated, anxious, irritable and perhaps we will see an increase in unruly behaviour as time goes by,” he said, like people refusing to adhere to the quarantine.

People with pre-existing anxiety problems might also be more likely to interpret normal bodily aches and pains as signs of becoming infected, Taylor said.
i.e "Lockdown".. As discussed by the psychologists on the UK SAGE committee, no doubt.
Was the cruise ship a laboratory? Or were there very few real passengers on the ship? We have no idea of knowing, just as we have no idea what went on behind the closed hospital doors during this "pandemic".

**At that point, the alleged virus was only known as 2019-nCov, making sure that there was no connection subsequently with China in the name. Can't have that now.

Let us not forget, the Diamond Princess "laboratory" gave credence to the wonderful Covid-19 gift of the asymptomatic carrier
Japanese researchers looked at the 634 passengers who tested positive for COVID-19 on the Diamond Princess cruise ship. They found that 17.9% of these passengers were asymptomatic.
March 17
source - https://www.infectioncontroltoday.com/c ... ugh-target

https://www.lshtm.ac.uk/newsevents/news ... ymptomatic
6 May 2020
This has now jumped to 75 percent! According to "new estimates"
Almost 75% of people on board Diamond Princess with COVID-19 may have been asymptomatic
a new "preliminary" study by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, which incidentally receives large pots of money from the Gates Foundation for various projects including Malaria - $40m TB Vaccines $193k URban sanitation in Africa $1.64m Agriculture and nutrition $2.84m
The research team estimated that 72% people of infected with COVID-19 on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship remained asymptomatic. For each asymptomatic case, it remained uncertain how infectious they were although they were unlikely to be as infectious as a symptomatic case.

Overall, the team estimate that asymptomatic cases were responsible for 11-84% of all infections during the outbreak. Work will be extended with more data (where available) and to other outbreaks, which the team hopes will enable more accurate estimates of the impact of asymptomatic cases on all infections over the coming period.

Rein Houben from LSHTM’s Centre for the Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases [who] led the research..

The model estimates that a third of people on board were infected by the end of the outbreak, but half of all infections went undetected as testing regardless of symptoms only started towards the end of the outbreak.

“This information is crucial for health policymakers to develop the most effective response strategies, including exiting from lockdowns

“Extensive testing of non-symptomatic individuals will most likely need to be part of any effective control or exit strategy.”

The authors acknowledge limitations of their work, including the remaining limitations in the data, and the inability of the model to identify a range for the relative infectiousness of asymptomatic infections.

***This study has not been peer reviewed***
the best kind of [model] study to elevate panic and steer governments.

Like all good fake events, the legal profession always have a drink from the hoaxing well.

Getting towards 4 years down the line, Oxrober 25 2023
https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-paci ... 023-10-25/
SYDNEY, Oct 25 (Reuters) - Carnival Corp's (CCL.N) Australian unit has been ordered to pay the medical expenses of a woman who contracted COVID-19, with a judge ruling that the cruise ship operator misled passengers about safety risks in a landmark class action ruling.

The decision from Australia's Federal Court is the first class action win against a cruise ship operator in the world, according to Shine Lawyers, who represent about 1,000 Australian plaintiffs in the suit.

Justice Angus Stewart found Carnival Australia misled passengers about the measures it had in place to keep passengers from contracting the virus and that it should have cancelled the March 2020 return voyage from Sydney to New Zealand.

Lead plaintiff Susan Karpik was awarded A$4,423.48 ($2,826) for out-of-pocket medical expenses but no damages.

Carnival Australia said in a statement it was considering the judgment in detail. Legal filings show the operator denied it knew before the voyage that the risk of contracting COVID was higher on a cruise ship than in the community.
So how did all these passengers "contract" the deadly "covid" while at sea? Did it jump from dolphin to human?
And then the master stroke of the hoaxers - bring the ship back to harbour and let the passengers [if indeed there were any] run amok in Australia. Fake pandemic job done.
The Ruby Princess was for a time Australia’s biggest single source of COVID infection after 2,651 passengers, many feeling unwell, were allowed to leave the ship helping spread the virus across the country and internationally.

Ultimately around 900 cases and 28 deaths would be linked to the outbreak.
What a coincidence, the sister ship of the Diamond Princess, q.v. 712 "cases" 14 "deaths".

Of course, deaths at sea on a cruise ship full of elderly passengers are not rare but as the table shows other cruise ships had rather normal demonstrations of mortality-
