Re: EV fires and China's fake green agenda

Unread post by rachel »

This is a surprisingly interesting video. It runs through China's green scams, and then onto the Chinese electric cars, fires and general EV problems.

Electric cars (in current format) are FINISHED!!
EV’s have been pushed onto society for a good while now. Problem is, they keep catching fire, cost way too much to produce and the Lithium mining is dangerously bad for the environment!
Are you aware of how China FORCES their way through politics and finances?
Would you buy a car knowing that the doors might not open and could blow up or just roast you in minutes??

This is Extralien's website, and the post that lists all the videos he runs through.

The bike graveyard really caught my eye, it's from 2020. But also the building one, which I'll link to elsewhere.

No Place To Place——The Wonders of Shared Bicycle Graveyards in China
Bicycle sharing, known as one of China's "New Four Major Inventions" originated during a period of mass entrepreneurship and innovation. In May 2015, the first dockless shared bicycles were introduced on the campus of Peking University. The concept behind bicycle sharing, "Green Travel" and solving the “Last Mile” problem was widely welcomed. In just over two years, more than 70 shared bicycle companies had sprung up. Around 27 million shared bicycles had been deployed to major cities with distinct colors to differentiate the brands. Soon, shared bicycles began to overwhelm public spaces in cities.

Originally the government was laissez-faire about the cluttered streets and even encouraged bicycle sharing. They did not realize the seriousness of the issue until September 2017 when the government started to limit the number of bicycles deployed and placing excess bicycles in temporary locations. Such hidden locations are hard to be found in cities and have earned the name “shared bicycle graveyard". Many shared bicycle companies have therefore closed down, leaving only a few companies still operating. Billions of Chinese Yuan of user deposits cannot be refunded, and shared bicycles costing tens of billions of Yuan are abandoned and become urban garbage.

Since January 2018, the photographer has traveled throughout the country to multiple cities that have been occupied by shared bicycles. He has visited more than 50 shared bicycle cemeteries, using aerial photography, local shooting, VR, video, audio and other multi-media methods to record this social wonder.

On the morning of July 26, 2018, Sohu.com launched these photos and videos, which immediately triggered the crazy forwarding of Chinese and foreign medias. The number of hits on the Internet was hundreds of millions of people. Thousands of citizens posted comments on the Internet and it became a phenomenon level of propagation events.

In a mess after the storm, people start to think about various deep-seated problems in the development model driven by China's current capital interests.

It is not just the shared bicycles having no place to go, but also our obsession, our dreams of wealth and the hearts of each of us in the context of the times.

Re: Increasing C02 level for growing food

Unread post by rachel »

The ideal C02 level for growing food is 400ppm & 600-1000ppm is used in greenhouses to increase yield by over 30% & reduce pests & diseases.

Yet climate scientists tell us 350ppm is so dangerous we will all starve.

Re: 1 degree change

Unread post by rachel »

This is one of these things, I don't believe we should be arguing the point.

Climate change isn't a thing.
The people who are arguing about climate change being a thing are talking about a masonic 1 degree - the difference between 32 and 33.
Even if there is unmanipulated change, what's the degree of error on that degree?

We know this is manipulated, we know they use weather stations near airports, and a lot more places that are concerted over to game their temperatures. I love the colour effect to scare us.

On any other measuring system you'd include a plus or minus degree of error, but that would wipe out their whole argument. The concept of one degree, you can raise the temperature in a room by a couple of degrees in minutes by lighting one candle. It's funny I've seen a youtube trick with a supposed ghost hunter, he's in his living room and he lights a candle to draw the spirit, then apparently this spirit arrives and he starts talking to it, and he says, to prove you are here, raise the temperature in the room. He's saying "I know you can do it, I know you can do it." And on the electric thermometer he has, the temperature goes up by a degree, and he's chuffed, "I know you can do it again...". It's not a four hour video, probably about ten minutes, it raises about three degrees, and then he goes "Thank you, thank you, I'll let you go.". The point is, all this climate change bollocks, for what? The masonic 1 degree.

But, if anyone thinks the temperature being notionally slightly warmer is a bad thing.

someone thought to be smart in a Discord server

gaia —
That's a great point, all those media narratives are made to worry us.

And there is nothing to worry about. The Earth will outlive us by quite the margin, and we, fitting with all of mankind into Texas, are small compared to the natural cycles.

These stories are concocted to make the listeners worry...
OTHER user —
The folks over at the Maledives (sic) and Tuvalu (both atoll chains) seem to think otherwise about the waterlevels
gaia —
that's the difference between relative sea level changes; atolls are by definition areas where the land sinks w.r.t. sea level

and eustatic sea level, the overal global sea level.

the first changes and affects low lying countries like Maldives, Tuvalu, the Netherlands, Jakarta
and the second is far too big to be affected by humans, instead cosmic parameters are at play there.
... it says "sinking" several times...

Net Zero

Unread post by rachel »

UK cost of NET ZERO. Kind of makes sense why killing people is in the mix.

How much will Net Zero really cost and who wants it?

We go through the 6th Carbon Budget and show the true cost of Net Zero by 2050 and disclose who is lobbying for this and what this means for you by looking at what will you be allowed to eat and asking if you will be allowed to own a car.
