Wouldn't a Christian put a bible verse or at least a cross if he was building such a monument?

It looks like a head at the bottom right. And there seems to be a reflection of a cross at the bottom of the stone, but no actual cross where there should be one.

@napoleon, are they them?

It's hard to say. The argument could be made they wanted an authentic Protestant space. Going back to the 1500s with the newly translated scripts, people who converted to Protestantism feared the possibility they might be seen as venerating idols in having an overly ornamented church, so instead held their services in simple plain rooms. It comes from a similar theological reasoning as Jews using G-d for God.

@napoleon, interesting catch on the carpet, it reminds me of the original EU identity card that came out around the same time as the European currency.

Video-plus-grand-coran-du-monde-Afghanistan.jpg

Mohammad Sabir Khedri, a famous calligrapher, gave the Afghan city of Kabul the largest Koran in the world. A work of 2.28m long and 1.55m wide. The book, weighing half a ton, was made from 21 goatskins (only for the binding).

The 218 pages of the Koran are exhibited in the cultural center of Kabul. Its price: 500,000 dollars.

The largest Quran in the world
It measures over 2m high and 1.50m wide. This exceptional Quran, calligraphed by Mohammad Sabir Khedri and 9 of his students, was offered to the cultural center of the city of Kabul (Afghanistan). it weighs half a ton and its cover was made from goatskin; gold letters illuminated with millions of colored dots sublimate the work. It is all the know-how and the cultural and artistic heritage that is expressed in this fabulous work which is also the symbol of a martyred country but which continues to shine by its richness.

From the first video.

Apparently it had the date 2014 in the corner of the English stone and it was removed in 2014.

Georgia Guide Stone- 2014 stone removal 9/25/14

And the date on it seemed to be 8/16/2014. And I would suggest that was the stonemason who had been given orders to remove it.

I found that the wiki page and most articles don't give the translation of the 4 ancient languages part.
Οἵδε οί λίθοι τὴν ὀδὸν δεικνύντων αἰῶνι σωφροσύνης
Let the stones show the way to eternal/age wisdom

In English, the text talks about an age of reason, It's not exactly the same but maybe one lead to the other I don't know.

This is interesting, particularly when we think which month actually begins the year.

  • The very real possibility of a future SPARS pandemic necessitates continued commitment to vaccination programs as well as accurate, culturally appropriate, and timely communication from public health agencies across the planet. While the communication experiences of the SPARS pandemic of 2025-2028 offer some examples for how this communication can and should occur, they also identify practices that should be avoided, or at least modified, for responses to future public health emergencies.
