Top sport and its sandwich board stars in the new coronaworld

There's too much money in big sport, so the show must go on. And the main participants must be used to drive the narrative where possible

Lewis Hamilton, F1, out in the open, nobody near him, but he needs a BLM facemask. All lives ought to have his immense riches and skills. That would be justice.

And the nonsense of pro-cycling in which tens and tens of riders ride for weeks on end in tight bunches blowing more snot and "shedding" more "virus" than probably any others on the planet - but once their heart rates come down to 40, or lower, on the podium, it's time to put the masks on and avoid shaking hands. Insanity. - from the Giro Italia

and a kiss from the winner's GF - more insanity - guess she's not in the bubble of 120 or whatever who rode the race.

Masks off, chaps now! I guess they're about to enter a restaurant, hence the reason for de-masking

How often are these riders "tested"? Imagine a "false positive" test mid race - everything would stop. But, that wouldn't be allowed to happen would it?

Lance Stroll reveals positive Covid-19 test, but fit for Portuguese GP
Stroll withdrew from Eifel GP due to illness, and tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday evening; But negative result before Portugal
Put it out through twitter, naturally. Have we got a suitable photo? Sure do

so, so an "upset stomach" [suuuuure] is another symptom to watch out for now?
"Lance then flew home to Switzerland on a private plane on Sunday morning. In line with Racing Point's enhanced testing protocol, under which all team members are tested on return from a Grand Prix, Lance took a Covid-19 test at home and received a positive result the next day. He continued to isolate for 10 days from the date of the test, in line with local regulations. He returned a negative test on Monday this week and will travel to the Portuguese Grand Prix."
just another contrived story for the sport-loving idiots, blissfully unaware of the 4th Industrial Revolution pounding down the track towards them, to keep them amused. I'm sure GRETA and KLAUS approve of the use of private planes to travel around - no social mixing that way.
