Macron used 49.3 - the article which allows the govt to force a bill through the Assemblée Nationale without a vote. The only alternative to stop the bill now is to overthrow the govt

The biggest nationwide protest since the beginning of the records for France ...
2-5,000,000 protested in over 200 areas across France.
Protests heated by police violence against women and the elderly.
France is on the edge of a civil war.

In France they have clear ideas: "Louis XVI we beheaded him, Macron we can start over!"

While Macron speaks to the nation on television, millions of French people take to the streets not to hear his speech.
Strasbourg - impromptu protest tonight for them too. It’s happening all across France. Macron’s address to the nation went down like a lead balloon.
