It was a pretty popular word with JLB, that other American chap who was on sometimes and did some videos in an Iron Man mask (can’t remember his username now…) and OS. That was a few years ago though.

This is correct. The American dude you’re thinking of is ID Kanspire (who also went by other names at other times iirc). Also, Willose spoke about kayfabe a fair bit back in 2020 on the fakeo audiochats.
