That Mary Poppins song was the reason that my grandfather forbade his children from watching that film when it was released back in 1964. He was also one to say that he’d do better to consult his mechanic on health issues than a medical doctor, since the latter knew just as little about the topic, but the former would at least not be paid by third parties to sell him poisons.
