Communist scare describes a type of PsyOps which was used during the so called Cold War when the main narrative for producing an enemy was the dialectic of communism versus liberalism. It includes multiple event- and discourse PsyOps based on the strategic narrative of a communist enemy of the free West, which was in fact used after the end of WWII to built up the dialectic of warfare and to enhance that dialectic within the societies of Western Europe and elswhere.
