I worked in a care home for the elderly recently, and due to mismanagement a lot of old folks died prematurely as a result of this virus. All the new arrivals are barrier nursed and you can’t tell which ones have the coronavirus and which ones don’t except for two things. 1. When you enter a room of someone that has the novel coronavirus you can taste it in the air. The virus has a bitter, acrid taste. 2. The ones with the virus don’t scream. The old folks in the care home that died of cancer or natural causes often scream out, especially if they have dementia. The ones that die of the coronavirus are too weak to scream. All they do is lay there, weak, and perish. Unless you have had first hand experience of victims of this deadly virus, you really wouldn’t know the first thing about it.
