John and Myself(Chris) delve into a discussion about â??9/11 foreshadowingâ?? in record albums, popular films and books; Dream Theater, Slayer, Prince, Final Jihad, OKC Bombing, Towering Inferno,hoaxbusterscall.com
The boys talk about one of my favorite songs, and the ending to my podcasts:
Now they’re planning the crime of the century
Well what will it be?
Read all about their schemes and adventuring
It’s well worth a fee
So roll up and see
And they rape the universe
How they’ve gone from bad to worse
Who are these men of lust, greed, and glory?
Rip off the masks and let’s see.
But that’s no right – oh no, what’s the story?
There’s you and there’s me
That can’t be right
Wickedpedia says the album was released 9/xx/77 – how much you want to bet it xx=11? Is this song written long before to foreshadow the planned 9/11 event? I say sure is likely.
I am a mad Supertramp fan – now, I ask you, do you think they were given the lyrics or at least told the theme of certain songs? Interesting that the first two albums were duds, and the band was restocked with new musicians – and then broke out in Anglo America. Sort of sounds like the Beatles. This is consistent with my view that top culture creators are pulled to the top, and don’t bubble up organically.
After the failure of their first two albums and an unsuccessful tour, the band broke up, and Rick Davies and Roger Hodgsonrecruited new members, drummer Bob C. Benberg, woodwinds player John Helliwell, and bassist Dougie Thomson.[4] This new line-up were sent by their record label,A&M, in particular A&R man Dave Margereson (who would become their manager for the next ten years) to a seventeenth-century farm in Somerset in order to rehearse together and prepare the album.[4][5]
It’s well discussed how their biggest album, Breakfast in America, has lots of predictive programming. It’s so clear that it’s ridiculed, a form of gaslighting that I’ve been highlighting here.
Here’s my original post.
Here’s Simon’s post.
